Teenage Boy Gets Run Over by a Train | Chicago Fire

The crew is called for a train accident, two teenagers are hit, one is lying underneath the train, the other is nowhere to be found.

At the site of a train accident, Peter Mills (Charlie Barnett) becomes deeply upset when he observes the dead body of a young victim. Unable to shake his emotional distress about the event, he questions his future as a firefighter. Dawson (Monica Raymund) and Shay (Lauren German) save a 6-year-old girl whose mother (guest star Kat McDonnell) is abusing her - but their confrontation leads the woman to resort to dire actions. Meanwhile, Severide (Taylor Kinney) aggravates his injury while rescuing a heart attack victim and Shay sends Clarice (guest star Sheri Appleby), her married, pregnant ex-girlfriend, back home to her husband. Jesse Spencer, David Eigenberg and Eamonn Walker also star.

except for alot of people write DANGER DO NOT ENTER in a bunch of places there there is no danger cause there too lazy to properley secure there premesis or hire security so abuse that warning leading to people not taking it seriously then theres those who do that for litigeous purposes when its really not warrented as the danger is non existant when i was in school we had a closset that read DANGER RADIATION it freaked all the kids out and no one would stand by it then one day in science we was talking about it and the science teacher replied wait you mean the closet down the hall? yeah thats just there for legal purposes whats inside isnt even a big deal its a tiny little wooden box with lead shielding and inside is a small radiation source we use for experiments its not even that radioactive you could hold it in your hand for a week and probably be fine short of eating it im not actually sure how youd harm yourself we just have to put a sign saying radiation danger because in health and safetys eyes it could be a hazard ironically theres more radiation above our heads right now and we dont have to put a sign in here as she pointed to the smoke detectors edit: if i remember corectly the "radiation source" was a little glass pepple that was made of uranium glass you can actually buy this stuff from antiques stores they used to make green glass plates from it for food its pretty much harmless unless you eat or inhale it its super not a issue but alas it had to go in a lead lined box inside a closset labeled radiation cause if by some 50 billion to one chance it did hurt someone then they gotta cover there asses

Even if there is no sign, people need to use common sense. A girl I went to school with, lost her brother because he ran across the train tracks at a train station at night on a dare. The third rail was electrified so he got electrocuted then the incoming train basically did what happened to this girl in this episode.

I honestly have some kind of trauma with Otis's death... so much so that I start crying everytime I see him... I can't even see the actor's insta... When Joe got married or Chloe got pregnant, all I could think was "man Otis should've been here.." He would've been Joe's best man and baby Cruz's god father🥺 Shay's death was no piece of cake either but I was more traumatized with Otis's death..

this actualy happened to my great-great-grandfather. His leg got run over by a train and he lost it. It infected and killed him after years of suffering. Even if he wasn't killed instantly, this really remembers me of that story that now only lives in our memories.

I know this is fake but I feel so bad for the girl. Being ripped apart by a train would be such a painful way to go. I’m sure there has probably been people who died this way. You can only hope that they died before the limbs got ripped off. That’s really one of the worst ways to go.

I once saw the aftermath of a train hitting two people. I arrived minutes after the accident and it was similar to how they portrayed the girl here, just multiplied by 10. Limbs, organs everywhere. I couldn't sleep for days afterward.

Plus the momentum of them actually getting hit would take them. It’s weird that she fell in place and was dismembered, and the boy was carried all that way and barely had a scratch. You would think to see the opposite, being carried killing them. Idk

Not always, this is just a case of getting dragged by the train which is very painful but slow enough to survive if youre lucky. However there are videos- mainly on reddit from what i've seen, of people getting hit by trains; it breaks youre back/neck. Youre dead before you even know it..

Out Trainer for Truppmann II (in Germany) talked with us about his first Emergency as a Firefighter in the 80s when we Had Motorcyle Accidents and Traffic Victims. One of the Trainees asked him, If a Motorcyle was a Safe way to Drive. This ist what He told us. Biker with full Gear frontal Crash against LKW at night on the Highway. LKW Driver in Schock and Bikeparts everywhere. He Had His first Nightshift. With Others they Cordoned of the Lanes. After that He got instructions from the Melder (His Commander) to Walk with 8 Others Firefigters on the Street and on the Side (Grassy Sidestrip) and find the Motorcyclist. Before anyone Else found Something, He found a Helmet, Called it Out and picked it Up. (For reference, His Training Called for calling it Out and Leaving it.) He told US, that he wondered, why the Helmet was so heavy. He turned it around and INSIDE was still the Head of the Biker. He dropped it in Schock. 4 Hours later He was in the Hospital for Smoke Inhalation from the Damaged LKW (alongside some Others Colleagues) and Overnight watch. He told US that He got a Warning from His Commander, Counselling and 2 weeks paid Absender to "Clear His Mind". ...... "And that ist why i dont Drive a Motocycle" (Sorry for my Bad Grammar, Just thought i Tell some People Out there)
