Sounds an order of magnitude better than the u87 to my ears

Do you have to connect it to something in order to record? Can you record to internal storage?

Yes needs a recorder, but this can be direct to a laptop or even an iPhone via USB

Is there a particular use you have in mind? Difficult to advise without knowing exactly what you’re looking to do but I would say the quality of the microphone itself is certainly consistent with the price

@larrylynch8113 yeah it’s great for vocals and acoustic guitar. You would need a pop filter for vocals though, but that’s the case for any similar mic really. I would recommend checking out Pop Audio for a portable solution. The arm is really flexible and the filters are interchangeable. Metal filter is great for throwing in a bag and taking out recording.
