These things are amazing and so much fun however there's nothing you can do on it that you can't do on a DAW so they are cool to have and use but you definitely don't need one. Am I right?
@ThojMusic8 жыл бұрын
You are totally right but I think that this synth must be seen as a good way to enjoy electronic live music creation in a way that it has never been done before. It is simple to use and it is easy to transport. But at the end of the day, if you want to go further, you must go to your DAW of course :) It is a good and simple alternative to a DAW
@Jonnyguitar18778 жыл бұрын
Thoj can't you have both and run it into a DAW? Or does it not work like that?
@ThojMusic8 жыл бұрын
Hi Chromaesthesia, yes of course you can import each of the 4th tracks of the OP1 individually into your DAW or record the whole tracks together in live into your DAW as well.

Sorry, but could anyone tell me where the actual sounds come from? As in, are they built in or are they coming from somewhere else? I produce dance etc with logic pro x btw. I am just confused where all the sounds are being generated from. Perhaps I need a lesson in synths and controllers
@ThojMusic7 жыл бұрын
Hey man ! Everything here comes from the synth. Inside that little box :) Nothing outside. No samples, every sounds was made with the original synthesizers available in the machine. Was it your question ?

@AndreasDelleske4 жыл бұрын
Heyhey.. sure it's OK the way it is, BUT: Adding a "wrong" note like this usually indicates that you'll shift to another tonality (especially at that time in the bar!) or make a short excursion and then we're a little disappointed that it doesn't happen. Music is a game of expectation, adventure and coming home. The same note one ocatve higher would have resolved better.
@gaiabioshop36565 жыл бұрын

This is great. The one thing that drives me nuts about the OP-1, is whenever you switch between tracks in tape mode, while the tape is playing, you get a very quick stutter. It's illustrated several times in this video, e.g. kzbin.info/www/bejne/q57EpZWQZdNno6cm3s. Has anyone figured out a way around this? It makes it quite annoying to do live performances.

Comment tu met la musique du op-1 Sur ton ordinateur ? How you puts the music of op-1 On your computer ?
@ThojMusic8 жыл бұрын
Hello !! Tu peux tout simplement te servir de l'OP1 comme un disque dur et récupérer chacune des 4 pistes que tu as enregistré dessus. Ensuite tu n'as plus qu'à les exporter sur ton DAW (logiciel de prod type ableton) :)
