First comment! Now I ask you to react to "If it wasn't for the night", official video that was recorded in Japan, a fun song with the same energy and joy of Dancing Queen, another of my favorites from ABBA is "I do i do ido i do i do" beautiful song where the voices of Agnetha and Frida each stand out in their vocal range.

What a classic, one of my personal favorites. Voulez Vous has got to be my favorite album. Kisses of Fire and Voulez Vous are wonderful songs to react to. 👀

VV is such a 'shiny-polished" album and one of ma favest too.I had bought this about 2-3 times on vynil and twice on cassete.I melt them on my turntable and tape.And i always loved its silvery blue cover.

Hi Chase, just woken up in the UK, and clicked on your channel. Great you've chosen "Angel Eyes" which, I think was the double "A" side to "Voulez-Vous". Can't beat listening to Abba at any time, so thanks for giving me a great start to my day! Glad you're enjoying your Abba journey. Great channel Chase. 👍 😊

Another great reaction Chase. I highly recommend "If it Wasn't for The Nights" - another orchestrated instrumental harmonic overdrive song that only ABBA can do. Love experiencing your joyous reaction listening to these treasures. ABBA never made a bad song.

As has been said previously, each song is recognisably ABBA yet sounds unlike any other ABBA song! I know of an exception: "Happy Hawaii" and "Why did It have to be Me?". Same tune, vastly different lyrics!
@Vikinggirl16797 ай бұрын
Yes those 2 songs have the same melody just different lyrics. Have you seen the animated version? It's pretty awesome. They were gonna make a cartoon series of ABBA. It supposed to be sort of like the old Jossie and the Pussycats cartoons. They even did voice overs. It didn't materialize though for some reason Happy Hawii and Money Monet Money were as far as they got. You can Google it to see.

Cheers Chase , thank you for looking at my comment and playing this one , it looked like you enjoyed it. So many great Abba singles to enjoy. To be honest I don't ever think they made a bad one !! If you can get around to it sometime , "I Still Have Faith In You" is worth a review ,it's off of their latest Album Voyage. I think it's a must to review it with the official video though as it also tells their story. Keep up the great work.

So enjoyable to see your journey of discovery with ABBA. Suggested song as yet another example of ABBA's variations of songs, the live version of 'Why did it have to me', which in my opinion is better than the studio version. kzbin.info/www/bejne/qYGrp2qci6anp9E Frida's performance here is considered by many to be one of her best with a phenomenal vocal performance. And Benny goes crazy on the piano as usual.

One song you can put on your list of future Abba reactions is Hey Hey Helen which is from their Abba album released in 1975. The same album that Mamma Mia and S.O.S. is from. Hey Hey Helen is s bit heavier, I'm sure you'd like that one too. There is a tv performance on YT with it. But in your own time, no rush. There's some funky songs on their Waterloo album too.

Funny thing about the lyrics of many of ABBA's 'happy songs' is that they are in fact very dark :)
@eduardooscar3097 ай бұрын
hi dear friend, so hippy to see you again discover more and more ABBA songs "Angeleyes" (1979) is a good disco-style song (7pts), within album disco-style "Voulez Vous" (with the exception of the ballads "Chiquitita" and "I have a dream") that ABBA recorded following the influences of disco music in North America with Bee Gees hits It was together, with "Voulez Vous" as double A-side, the third single from said album, it reached #3 in UK In this album I prefer other songs of that style: "As good as new" (the opening track) the tittle track, "Voulez Vous" ore the fantástic "If it wasn''t for the nights" but these tuned is loved for the fans and was trendiing in Tik Tok a few months ago, with a lot of streaming Unfortunaly it haven't a official video or TV perfomanece I see you in next ABBA vídeo My best regards from Buenos Aires Argentina 🇦🇷 South America

Benny is one of the few song writers who could write songs from another person's perspective. The only one who, I think, could do this better is Kasey Chambers. Check out her song "Paper Aeroplanes". There are many more where she does the same thing, but this one struck my heart, when my wife died.
