I have been a big fan to both channels for years (way back when Mr Sunday Movies is still with Comic Book Resources). Back issues is the key show on Comic Pop and I never miss a show; I also never miss any of Mr Sunday Movies’ weekly podcast, so hopefully that bodes well for people who venture across.

@@Clay3613 okay? And so Halloween was until TMNT 1 then? Halloween was definitely one of the highest profitable independent films with a budget of $300-325k and a box office of $70 million. TMNT had a budget of $13 million and had a box office of $202 million.

Comic Pop is a great channel and I’d highly recommend everyone check their channel out. I really enjoyed this commentary but it is missing the traditional Caravan of Garbage editing that would make it a great video. I’d love to see James and Mason bring them back as guests on a future episode.

With that said, behind the scenes footage had relevant content they could have shown while they were talking about it. How do I know? Well, just watch, it is there, just not at the right time. Typically when you talk about a barrel of radioactive waste in the film, you...y'know...show the radioactive barrel that you're referring to. When you're talking about how Shredder's face isn't shown, maybe have ANY footage of Shredder?

It does kinda suck tho that there’s been issues these last couple times Comic Pop has done a video for this channel. I saw this movie 3 times in the theaters. Only because there weren't any other movies playing that my 11 year old self could get into. I remember hating the fact Bebop and Rocksteady weren't in it. I also didn't understand why the Turtles didn't use their weapons. I remember trying twice to get tickets to the first one and they were sold out each showing for a month. Great video guys!

Originally, David Warner's character was supposed to be an alien like in the comics, but it was apparently cut for budget reasons. At the end, he's last seen grabbing the can of ooze after it's knocked out of Shredder's hands and slinking away into the shadows. Supposedly, after grabbing the can, it would then reveal to the audience that he was an alien Utrom. Supposedly, the producers felt that A) audiences would be confused why there's suddenly an alien in the last five minutes of the movie, B) kids who watch the cartoon would be confused cuz the comic Utroms look too similar to the cartoon's Kraang, and C), it would be too expensive for just a quick scene at the end. EDIT: oh, he briefly mentions this at the very end of the video.

I do remember Super Shredder being pretty exciting to see...for about 10 seconds. Being instantly killed by your own incompetence is a fairly underwhelming end for an iconic character who put up a much better fight when he wasn't 'Super.'

Michaelangelo’s name was spelled that way at the time because Eastman and Laird misspelled it when they created the turtles. Laird fixed it with the 2001 TMNT relaunch and it has been Michelangelo ever since.

The biggest problem with the suits in II is that the faces aren't as distinct as they were in the original. So even though the animatronics were improved, they felt like they had less personality.
