I bought the originals when my son was born. I displayed them in his room. He’s 4 now and LOVES Ninja Turtles. I came across this channel and showed it to him. Now, he loves watching Pixel Dan too.

Doesn't mean I may not do another video here or there about toys from the series, but this is likely my last actual review unless something else happens to pop up. I remember getting the original 4 back in 2012 just cuz I thought they looked cool. Never imagined that the line would last SIX years, that's honestly pretty nuts. The last figure I got from the line was Human Karai... I'll miss this for sure (despite not collecting TOO much of it), but I'm looking forward to this new line for sure. But I won't like, I'm still waiting and hoping that the TMNT Classics Shredder finds its way out eventually, especially since the Figuarts is also pretty MIA. Great review Dan!

I bought a full set for a cousin that has now gotten out of toys. I saw this set and wish I got them as was trying to get the Samurai turtles and then the Monsters for myself as well but ended up giving them as a gift too. It It was fitting and will miss this series. I do plan to give the new a shot but, only that playset has sparked an interest and mainly cause looked like a 4 player Arcade game with in. Well one last time. BOOYAKASHA!

I have been a fan of the Turtles since I was a kid, all the way back to the comics. This version of the TMNT has been my favorite for some time now and I'm SO sad to see them end it. I am still very hesitant of the upcoming 'Rise of the TMNT' but I will, as I always do, give it a chance to impress me. Thanks for the reviews on this amazing line, and I look forward to many more.

This line needed better articulation, especially for the villains, more detailed paint apps and more ooze related features. Otherwise, it was a good line that did the franchise proud. Thanks for all the turtle reviews, Dan. I’ll be looking forward to the next line and your impressions.

I think every TMNT line has had unpainted weapons with the exception of the 2003 series. Seems to just be the norm. *shrugs*

As somone thats been watching since 2012. I went from 10 to 16 years old, man it is super sad seeing the show end as well as the toy-line :/ i remember me being super exicted to see the new pixle dan toy review on them. some memoires i will always hold to my heart :') it's been a amazing six years watching you dan, and now i know what it feels like having my turtles end too, for sure the best out of the other series. and i will look forward to seeing the rise reviews, regardless what i think about how they look. anyways, thank you for filling my childhood with awesomeness dude, means a lot.

There's so many variations of the basic turtles, it's insane. I wish they changed the head sculpts at least. Leo just looks strange because it's just a slightly modified basic Leo head, but with bigger eyes just to make room for the pupils. The first release basic turtles and battle shell were my personal favorites from this line.

I never really loved the pupils. Every time they paint his eyes, he looks like this. I prefer the whited out eyes on my TMNT toys. :-)

In México we got this figures like two years ago and we never get the ones with the letters on the belt. And these were almost the last figures we get until we received the first wave of tales of the tmnt with super shredder this year.

It is sad to see the line, but it had to happen one day and in my area anyway Biglots still has them out it allowed me to get a Mozar because I missed out on him back in 2016.

Hey I'm wondering but I think I already know the answer does Leo swords have different length seems like they do. I got my set from second hand and was a little disappointed when I found I had 2 swords that didn't match but watching this and the original 2012 review I started thinking that that's the way they were design can anyone confirm that.

Great review to the last of 2012 turtles. I picked up this set too. The original first released sculpts remain my favorite of the whole line just because of the similarities to the 1988 toys. looking forward to your reviews of the Rise of TMNT toys in the coming future.
