I bought TMNT 2 when it first came out in 1990 (I was 15 yrs. old at the time). On the instruction booklet was a coupon for a free personal pan pizza from Pizza Hut, if I remember correctly. Also, I got so good at the game, that I could make it all the way to the end of the game without dying. The only enemy that always killed me was The Shredder. Other than that, it was a perfect run. The trick was to just jump kick everyone in sight, and on the bosses jump kick them back and forth to keep them confused at all times. And last, but not least I always picked myself as player 1! 😁

Yep. The game even has billboards for Pizza Hut in some of the stages. I definitely redeemed that coupon too

No way, the trick was to use the 4hp jumping swing attack on the foot soldiers and then spam the jump kicks on most of the bosses (watch out for krang’s kicks though). Of course, shredder’s insta-kill beams could derail everything.
