This games beyond radical dude! Absolutely one of my most anticipated titles of 2022 and straight to Gamepass is even better still will end buying it just to support the development and sheer passion put into it. I'm a newer TMNT Fan 03-12 era but love the franchise and a "beat em up" game that builds on Turtles in Time and the other one hyper heist or something like that even I can see how fantastic this is, Shredders revenge really captures the magic and feel of those titles extremely well done. The animations, roster that I would have been completely satisfied with the 4 turtles but that April reveal made me realise my complete stupidity having more characters in this case is far better she looks siiick and I like the take on her jumpsuit, splinter looks OP as he should and CASEY JONES looks really fun to play the environments/interactive backgrounds, Sound effects and soundtrack are amazing can't wait to play with the world's most fearsome fighting team cowabunga indeed booyakasha! XD SO EXCITED Especially for 6 player co-op online and local hell yeah.

I've seen these games mentioned before, is it from a leak or do so many people actually want these two sequels? I never really took Chip & Dale as a popular video game, when compared to Ducktales which inspired many platformers. I don't know enough about Comix Zone outside it looked great as a kid but gameplay was stiff and unresponsive when compared to something like Golden Axe or Streets of Rage.

You made me feel old Alex LOL. I played that old turtles cabinet as a 5yr old in a Chuck E. Cheese in 1990. That kid phase never leaves completely. Just played an emulated version of the arcade with my son, 30+ years later. Still holds up. Can't wait to play this new game.

As an adult in my 30s, I can undoubtedly say that I am no longer into video games as much as I was as a kid and teenager. But seeing the gameplay of this new TMNT game brings the kid and teenager out of me again. I will definitely find a way to squeeze in time to play this game, because it looks amazing. Somehow I missed this. Just watching this from the opening, the laugh, the action. It's like the loss of 30 years since Turtles in Time (and Hyperstone Heist) just never happened. There is a real level of quality here that SoR4 didn't even hit getting more creative with things. This is just amazing, it's done right, not overblown, no odd gimmicks, it's like this really is TMNT 5: Shredder's Revenge. This makes me want to go buy that old DVD set of the Turtle wagon to really go all out...shell yeah.

Wow! I remembered my childhood! I remember watching the animated series on TV, i remember playing all TNMT games on my NES, and later "Hyperstone heist" on Sega Megadrive. And now, so much years later - SEQUEL! And not just sequel, but PERFECT SEQUEL, which is made exactly, as sequels should be made! It's amazing how accurately original atmosphere and style recreated! Gameplay, graphics and music - all of it are made perfectly! Great and nostalgic game!

I'm hopeful they will have all the special features of sor4 and then some. I'm super hopeful they'll have characters unlockable during normal gameplay as well as DLC characters. Obscure characters like "The Last Ronin", "Venus", from the current books. Skins, movesets, boss rush, simulation equivalent to sor4. If none of this I'm still there but I hope as crazy as it sounds they do all this and more. Imagine Shredder's Grandson, I know everyone says Casey Jones, but I'm hoping that's unlockable through normal gameplay. An impossible dream but In this day and age who knows, but I wish they would throw in the Sor4 characters as like 100% award from the game then you unlock them or something.

I honestly wouldn't be mad if they released echo characters with combined altered movesets like some of each of the turtle's moves into the last ronin. Or Shredder's Grandson could be an echo fighter with obviously a different look (liquid nano tech metal), but you could redistribute his stats to make him different. Idk if there are any water hazards but you could make that a thing that affects it. Idk just trying to help I am proud to push and promote Dotemu all day since I have nothing but respect hard earned. I have Sor4 on switch and PS4 and 100% complete on both. Play through boss rush mode to warm up before going through the simulation a few times. Then a play through of the story or whatever.

Another old guy here (almost 42) and I can honestly say these dotemu guys did their homework with recreating(and improving) the look, sound and feel of the old arcade/nes turtles games. Nice work! Ps: if you go the sonic mania route and mix things up with character dlc....consider 4 neutral/antagonist mutants like slash, Leatherhead, dirtbag and groundchuck!

one of the best arcade games existed in my childhood. I remember i was 12 and i stole the money for the gas from my parents and i played all day ... I wa found by dad late in that day on the machine spending the last money playing Turtles ninja. The beating ..was worth it.:)

This does look promising. I was hoping it would have the scaling throw from Turtles in Time. I really like how that move came into play in the SNES version against Shredder in the Technodrome. It's stuff like that that made the SNES version so much better to play.

@@AlbertoCasanova Regardless of the said point, I think it would provide more choices and even entice players who might have passed on this game due to the pixel art style, and ultimately would bring in more revenue for the devs with (assuming) considerably less effort, since the game engine is already done. I appreciate the pixel art look, but I'd also pay more money for an additional HD version as a DLC. I'm sure I'm not alone on this. Afterall, who doesn't like eye candy? I mean Streets of Rage 4 is in HD and has a sort of a 'retro' mode for the player characters. Why not build on that concept and have 2 whole different graphics modes? Wonder Boy did it, and quite successfully too.

If they want to keep the retro vibe intact, there should be NO DLC... they should include the unlockables IN GAME, so that we can... you know... UNLOCK THEM through sheer will, determination, and skill. Those are the games that I grew up with, and they are far more satisfying experiences than PAYING EXTRA for "DLC". I do agree with your idea, at least in regards to Casey Jones and Usaki Yojimbo... I just think they should be included as unlockables, rather than DLC. But I know the game will have DLC, goddamn it.

@@funkydruster They obviously didn't make this game with "HD texture fans" in mind... they made it for US... the long standing TMNT fans (Turtle Maniac since 1987, here)... all of whom have been waiting for a new pixelated TMNT beat em' up since the mid frigging' 90's. HD fans already have THEIR Turtles cartoons and games, from the early, mid AND late 2000's...however inferior I may find them to be... So let us have ours.

I didn't like the art direction of SoR 4 at all, and they changed the combat too much. It felt more like a flash game than a genesis game. This one looks and feels a lot more like the original, even if it has some poor art / sound choices. Way better than SoR 4.

Dear Dotemu team, dear all, thanks for your great games, I truely loved your Streets of Rage remake and am looking forward to the new Turtles game. A great idea popped into my mind: Wouldn't it be unique to have an auto-multiplayer-mode in the game? So even if you don't play with friends you still get the full experience. I'm 38, and looking at this not only fills me with nostalgia for the original '89 arcade (at chuck e cheese), and its NES counterpart (at my neighbor's house, he got the game for a birthday), but it also makes me think "Wow, a videogame that actually looks and sounds like... a videogame!" Hopefully there aren't too many tutorials and long cutscenes, so I can just start it up and button mash! 😄

I can't wait for this to come out but at the Sametime not been paying alot of attention to it so it will all be a surprise but I'm very glad to see that the health bars and most the HUD has changed and looks much cleaner in my opinion

I am 51 years old and I just pre-ordered and download this game for my Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S. I have a year of Xbox Game Pass Ultimate but this is a game that will stay on my 2Tb and 1TB Seagate SSD. Been gaming for 40 years and this brings back memories. Wonder if I can play this with my Razer Fight Stick.

The art looks amazing. I hope the boss gameplay continues to be adjusted. Bebop and Rocksteady's moves felt stale real quick. Needs more variety.

This games beyond radical dude! Absolutely one of my most anticipated titles of 2022 and straight to Gamepass is even better still will end buying it just to support the development and sheer passion put into it. I'm a newer TMNT Fan 03-12 era but love the franchise and a "beat em up" game that builds on Turtles in Time and the other one hyper heist or something like that even I can see how fantastic this is, Shredders revenge really captures the magic and feel of those titles extremely well done. The animations, roster that I would have been completely satisfied with the 4 turtles but that April reveal made me realise my complete stupidity having more characters in this case is far better she looks siiick and I like the take on her jumpsuit, splinter looks OP as he should and CASEY JONES looks really fun to play the environments/interactive backgrounds, Sound effects and soundtrack are amazing can't wait to play with the world's most fearsome fighting team cowabunga indeed booyakasha! XD SO EXCITED Especially for 6 player co-op online and local hell yeah.
