The SNES version of the title is so polished and clean. This looks like an indie game by comparison, and yet, I love how _metal_ the style and attitude is here, even though it's still incorporating some cartoony characters from the Archie line.

Very nice gameplay, great way to use Casey's tools, gotta love how both Triceraton cheesed out each round, and yeah, that stupid grab that can potentially be an instant-kill... is also the 1st time I actually see Triceraton's DM in action. (I hope the Genesis version in the upcoming Cowabunga Collection makes the bosses playable for the sake of having a most complete and legit experience that currently is only possible with game genie or romhacks). Edit: Karai's grabs are also cheap, but not as dangerous as Triceraton's.

The great thing about tournament fighters from genesis is the variety of planets where the fights take place and it has more history than its counterpart is snes In addition to the battle against Krang, which was what Supernintendo's tournament fighters lacked without a doubt the best version wow wow great game play bro geek 💪

Um...no...The SNES version is leagues above the Mega Drive/Genesis version. Clearly the SNES version had more time put into it instead of the B Team for the Genesis/Mega Drive.

Totally it such a good soundtrack very funky n ambient in some places and others totally left but in a good way. I actually like the look of thus version, don't get me wrong THE SNES version is gorgeous but this version has a more grimey aesthetic i enjoy. The gameplay needs some fixing backgrounds need abit more life in them. Add afew more tweaks and characters would of really help push this game.

yeah, if this game had had a little more time to cook, I think it'd have turned out pretty good. it's not bad I'd say, but it's got some mad jank to it. but yeah the overall aesthetic is amazing in this game. it feels closer to the comics in a way.

I still have this game amazing soundtrack terrible gameplay the SNES version has better game play some would say better soundtrack too but i would disagree with that last part and which version had better graphics is up for debate depending on your taste I personally like both versions equally but the genisis version is darker and more gritty

It's hard to explain: NES timeline: Shredder (Appears in TMNT) and gets defeated --> Shredder (Returns in TMNT II) and gets defeated Again --> Shredder (Returns in TMNT III) and gets defeated another time --> Shredder (Returns in TMNT: Tournament Fighters) and once again gets defeated and flees in the ending = Shredder is alive. SNES timeline: Shredder (Appears, although in reality, returns, in TMNT IV) and for the umpteenth time gets defeated --> Shredder (Returns in TMNT: Mutant Warriors (Tournament Fighters in the west) and for the umpteenth time gets defeated = Shredder is alive. Genesis timeline: Shredder (Appears, although in reality, returns, in TMNT: The Hyperstone Heist) and for the umpteenth time gets defeated --> Shredder (doesn't return in TMNT: Tournament Fighters) = Shredder is dead.
