First, I believe this is still the most expensive video ever made! Second, Janet didn't want to do a song with Michael until she was established as an artist in her own right. As the timing would have it, "Scream" allowed her to work with her brother while at the same time making a statement and showing support for what Michael was going through. They also did it with Janet's producers, Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis, who were recently inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of fame alongside Janet, Michael and The Jackson 5!

Funfact this song is about the media and him being accused in 1993 which was dismissed in 1994 and he had to pay the dad who was also the producer of Robin Hood man in tights i don't watch that movie no more ever since i saw his name on the movie that man was using his child in order to get some money out of Michael
