Recent research into the teenage brain has revealed important differences in the way that teenagers sleep, compared to the typical sleep patterns of adults. We now understand why adolescents don't generally feel sleepier until much later at night and need to sleep for much longer in the mornings. We also know that many adolescents are operating with a chronic sleep deficit - which can significantly impact their learning, memory, behaviour, relationships and mental health.
Join us for this unique opportunity to listen to a world-leading expert on sleep, Professor Russell Foster from the University of Oxford, as we explore the ways in which sleep changes for teenagers and how schools can help students manage their sleep needs and develop better habits.
