The problem is…no one talks about the show or how good it really is- like it’s heavily underrated. The plot keeps you interested and on edge (practically the anime version of among us but better), and eventually they show great character development for everyone. I love how everything goes together in the end showing how they all were connected some how. Plus I really wasn’t expecting that plot twist. I have to say it’s definitely in my top favorite shows, it needs much more recognition! 🤝

This is one of very few stories depicting problem with cloning. It is used extensively on food agriculture and have been used on animal breeding or cross breeding, A dobermans body with chiwawas legs is very painful for that organism, best case scenario it will die because of natural selection of some diseae

A few small contexts: The genome control act outlaws cloning, but it is not illegal to BE a clone. Thus why the group isn't worried about returning at all. The mushrooms (the ones that emit poison spores) grow the antidote themselves, attracting organisms that inhale the spores, creating a corpse pile which they can feed off of without moving.

I imagine they would have highly regulated the tech and put safety measures to prevent its weaponization. Also, I assume released to the public means like having it commercialized for long distance travel and not that every household had a wormhole device. If everyone had one that wasn’t *EXTREMELY* limited to what it can do/ have safety’s to prevent misuse, then I can understand how that could be extremely stupid.

This idea was also kind of like The House of the Scorpion, where a wealthy drug lord creates mindless clones of himself to harvest organs from them to keep himself alive, but sparing one from being born mentally destroyed to gift them a brief life.

I have varied taste, but sci-fi and cloning are particular favorites. But now I feel old because I swear that was like 20 years ago... and yeah, it was.

I actually love this anime. The plot of them going on different planets every time is already interesting. Their problem solving skills in outer space is always fun to watch. The plot twist near the end made is incredibly shocking. The real history of earth origin is mind-blowing. It have potential to be turned into live action movie.

I love the concept of this show. I already love games like endless space 2 or like stelaris , finding a concept in anime that is not so over the top or gundam related is pretty refreshing. The plot was brilliantly made , engaging and interesting while not being something that has to do with "space magic" or any hyper intelligent evil aliens. I also love your choise of background music and the way you are telling the story is really natural! Great video!

I watched the show. I thought it was good, but I thought Kanada's father had room for a redemption arc. While the other parents were deliberately putting their clone kids at a distance to ensure they never got emotionally attached to the kids, Kanada's father spent the most time with his clone out of all the others to be his personal trainer to where I could see him making the human error to form an attachment with his clone (no, his son). I can also see Kanada's father telling Kanada he can't go on the camping trip, Kanada sneaking out, and the audience thinks Kanada's father is a dush bag dad when he was really trying to protect Kanada knowing that going on that trip would be sending him to his death. He'd still go to prison like the other parents, but it would have been nice a small glimmer of humanity in any of those parents. But no... Sadly, Kanada's father is a dush bag ass trying to kill his clone instead.
