The only shows they basically air now are Spongebob, Loud House, Casagrandes, and some live action stuff (which shouldn’t even be on a channel called NICKTOONS). And the times they do air old shows (like Danny Phantom, Jimmy Neutron, and Invader Zim for example), they are on for like on day of the week and that’s it.

That’s exactly how I feel about Teennick. It used to be so good between 2010-2016. The old Nickelodeon shows, teen drama shows, chairman of Teennick (Nick Cannon), Teennick originals, the bumpers and promos, and the old commercials. When Teennick had all this, it was so entertaining. But now since it shows reruns of shows like Henry Danger, Game Shakers and The Thundermans, and new Nick shows like Danger Force, Side Hustle, Drama Club and more, it’s just not the same. I still watch it because they still show iCarly, Victorious, Drake & Josh and Sam & Cat. But come on, reruns of those other lame shows?

I remember 2010-2015 was TeenNick’s PRIME ERA. New episodes of Degrassi, Every Witch Way, Dance Academy, Alien Surf Girls, Make it Pop, Open Heart, South of Nowhere, House of Anubis, H20: Just Add Water, WITS Academy, etc. and then the reruns of iCarly, Zoey 101, Drake & Josh, True Jackson VP, Unfabulous, Neds Declassified, Victorious, Big Time Rush, Sam & Cat, The Troop, and all the comedies from the past but still relitively modern and new. TeenNick had accquired shows like Dance Academy, H20, and Alien Surf Girls, shows from Nick like iCarly, True Jackson, and Drake & Josh, and then original programming like Open Heart, Degrassi, Open Heart, Every Witch Way, I am Frankie, etc. TeenNick was the perfect place for teens in 2010-2014 (2009 was ok but it was a rough start after loosing The N) 2009 was not as good as The N but TeenNick kept up there promise that TeenNick would be good from 2010 to 2014 or mid 2015. Late 2015, was when TeenNick went downhill and then it just got worse and worse. It went from loosing Degrassi, to loosing all teen dramas, to just comedies, to a Nick wasteland, or the Dan Schneider channel, to hope for TeenNick in 2017 when I am Frankie came out, to nothing good airing but I am Frankie at 9pm, to I am Frankie being cancelled in 2018 after just two seasons, to going back to the Dan Schneider channel, to not airing Drake & Josh or Zoey 101 anymore, To the only classics airing being iCarly, Victorious, and Sam & Cat, to airing only those three classics and then getting boring for overplaying those three, to not airing them anymore and only airing Henry Danger and Game Shakers, to now only airing iCarly as the only classic, non stop Henry Danger marathons, and Nicks crap new shows. The only show I sort of like on TeenNick right now (it’s technically a Nickelodeon show though) it’s called Drama Club. It’s really good but the season finale is airing his weekend. Who knows though, it’ll prolly not get renewed for Season 2, because the tiny bit of hope we can grasp in for TeenNick will most likely end. God what I’d give to say “new Degrassi episode in so tuning in to TeenNick/The N tonight!!”

I remember when it was Noggin. Noggin was a better alternative to Nickelodeon when it first came out. Then, it was The Hub Bub, The N, and then TeenNick. It was good as The N, because of Degrassi:The Next Generation and the other teen shows that came on like 24/7,Radio Free Rascoe, South of Nowhere, Instant Star, About a Girl, and The Best Years. I’ve been preaching this for years. I feel like once they added “The 90s are All That” block on TeenNick in 2011 and when Viacom decided to cut all secondary Viacom channels from making original series for their respective channels, that’s when TeenNick started to run downhill. The last TeenNick original show to air on the channel was TeenNick Top 10, which was cancelled in 2018. Now the channel just dumps all of the 2013-2020 pre-teen sitcoms and shows that didn’t receive good ratings on their schedule. I also didn’t forget about the Victorious, iCarly, Sam and Cat, Henry Danger/Danger Force, and Game Shakers marathons they show on TeenNick every damn day. For the past three weeks, they’ve had three Zoey 101 marathons which is showing me that they are trying to do things differently, but besides that the channel doesn’t have anything else to offer. Back in July of 2019 up to August that year they added some AwesomnessTV and old MTV shows to the schedule(which was a smart move imo) but old Gen X people got satly bc their old Nicktoons reruns aired later throughout the day.

that reminds me back in 2011 nickjr (the channel not the nick block) got a nighttime block called nickmom that aired from 10pm to like 2am but different time zones had it airing at different times and some places had it airing at 5pm and most children were still awake then. moms were pissed when they found out how inappropriate some of the things aired on nickmom were and questioned why there was an adult block on a channel for preschoolers. there were lots of petitions to get rid of nickmom and it stopped airing in 2015.

I’m 27 and TheN.com was my LIFE when I was 13/14. You could make avatars and get “creds” to buy things fro it, usually animated outfits from the shows on The N. Degrassi the next generation, O’Grady and Daria were the best 💙

Teennick made my childhood. I’m old enough to remember their teen shows such as Gigantic, dance academy, degrassi, etc. they would play the golden shows from nick like neds declassified, how to rock, drake and josh, Zoey 101 and so many more. TeenNick was my jam when I was 7. I loved most of their shows. I wish I could watch Degrassi as a teen because I would have appreciated it more.

I didn't watch The N that much because I was more into Nicktoons Network growing up. My parents only allowed me to watch Kenan & Kel, The Amanda Show, and Drake & Josh re-runs on The N because they felt I was too young to watch anything else on the channel, especially Degrassi.

I remember when the N was first coming out with their own channel and I use to be so jealous because my grandparents didn't buy the extra cable and all I wanted to see was a Degrassi. I'm glad I did get to witness some of the glory it use to be with Degrassi and the other shows too grown up for regular Nick and teen nick, then it got infiltrated with Zoey 101 (that we already saw) and Victorious, iCarly but by then I was a young adult and Degrassi had changed so I wasn't as interested in reruns of shows i use to watch. But those shows especially from Canada were soooo good.

I remember the N and teennick when I was a kid. I find it pretty sad they don't make good shows anymore. I mean one of my favorite shows that I can think of that is much into the teenage experience is that of as told by ginger even though it was a groundbreaking animation.

I used to watch teennick all the time when it first started showing “grown” content like degrassi and those types of shows obviously I was too young when I first started watching degrassi (at 8 or 9) but I grew up to see how teennick changed completely and it’s annoying because I used to love it! (15 now)
