These shows always rely too much on flanderization! Totally a shame.

the funny thing about homophobia in the 2000s is that there were quite a few movies that would have straight men crossdressing as women (i.e. white chicks, madea) and to a larger audience they would laugh and not think so much about it, but had an actual gay person crossdress suddenly its a problem and they would be shamed and never hear the end of it

My favorite Early 2000s sitcoms is Half & Half, and that show has a fatphobic problem and a bad parenting problem

Agreed 100% loved this show as a child but as an adult it’s just typical cookery and buffoonery made to make black people look like a joke, which is par the course for the Wayans family

If she’s insufferable and you don’t like her kids why’d you marry her? This was funnier in my head

Have you watched eve harriyanna? I love that show and it doesn’t get talked about much. Even online it’s hard to watch it. I liked my wife and kids especially the holiday episodes, but I did find Michael, JR and clair annoying
