I can relate to this so much. Same I had a crush in class 8 since class 7 and my mom got to know about it during the finals. Just because the guy with whom I never had a chance with, was from a different religion, my mom kind of manipulated me and forced me to change school. At that time I was guilty that my parents and grandparents got to know about it and was shameful about it. That's the reason why I agreed with it. I have never been the same before. I had so many friends in that school and now I am just the silent kid in my new class. Just living the days and can't wait to pass out 12 as soon as possible. It's getting hectic with all study stress, social issues, no one to talk to and family of course. I don't know if my mom's action was right or wrong but for sure it could have been done in a different way. Just wanted to share it and trust me I am still crying while I am typing it.

This short film presents all three women's perspectives in a balanced, understandable way - Yashu's naivety regarding her new emotions and her desire to be taken seriously as a young adult, Yashu's mother's impulsive protectiveness that comes from fear and intense love for her child, and Shelly's sorted and empathetic approach to helping them both as a mediator. I really appreciate how both Yashu and her mother went through their own parallel processes of lashing out, cooling down, and finally connecting with each other through that critical conversation at the end where they were able to meet halfway and understand each other better. With Shelly's support, both mother and daughter were able to bridge their communication gap, and it was lovely to see that healthy conversation with a bit of humor and a lot of love between them! It's so important to encourage open communication, respect, and empathy all around, plus being mindful of priorities at every stage of life - love that all these things were brought up through these characters. Cheers to all parents and children - we never stop learning, and life's challenges are easier to handle if we have each other to rely on and share these experiences with!

@melodiousvisions2 жыл бұрын
@@rubalsingh4709 I do think the violent reaction was not the proper way to handle the initial shock - but I understand where the impulse came from and the most important thing was that Yashu and her mother both realized what went wrong and actually learned from this. And as you said, in the end, we know that her mother is right about prioritizing oneself and one's career. That's especially why I loved the hints about Yashu's mother's own career aspirations, the implied sacrifices she made, and the way Sayantani so beautifully conveyed that frustration mixed with concern and maternal love. The wisdom that comes with personal experience...that's something that only comes with time and a willingness to listen and learn from those around us.

Tip for anyone who has a habit of writing diary : Don’t use a very beautiful, specific copy as a diary. That catches the attention of parents. Use a normal classmate copy like the ones where we write our school notes, then it would be camouflaged and they would never see it and you don’t even have to hide it. Just keep it along with your other class notebooks. Even though my parents never touched my phone or diary, but the situation will be exactly same if they came to know about any of my crushes or such. That’s why I follow this trick 😁

People like Yashu are lucky to have such amazing guardians in her life who understand her. In these times too, there are girls who still get a slap everytime, her parents get to know about her. Not having someone to understand puts a very deep impact in our life. Suicidal thoughts too make their way in their hearts. It's very important to understand teens. Being strict is one thing and hurting teens is one fucking worst thing.

It’s a really great concept that shows today’s teens. Parents always stay strict with them and they don’t bring out these kind of topics thinking it might be awkward for them as well as for their children . But these are the important life lessons that children should know. Don’t think that if u get a little friendly with them they would take control of u. They will not forget that u r the parent . Children these days are advanced and due to some hormonal changes they might feel insecure or worthless but it’s parents responsibility to make sure they know there worth and the word called self respect .

You are correct but think is it ok that when teenage boys just propose a girl , then instead of saying a simple no ,they call their parents and if they have brother they just humiliate that boy in every way possible even by physically So if it's ok then should a boys sister also do the same behavior with a girl who proposed him

Actually my science tchr had read my diary which i brought to school...in that I had written about my crush...the next day she talked with me seperately and said- "don't bring this stuff to school. You are still very young...focus on your studies" but gladly she didn't tell about this to anyone nor my class teacher. I'm glad she understood me, if my parents would've came to know about it, all the faith and independence they gave me would be crushed...
@ROHITSAINI-bt5dy2 жыл бұрын
And why you think your independence had gone if they came know about this if you haven't talk to them if you want to know about your parents more then we should talk to them and they behave and handle their life at same age as us they will tell you their experience and you will understand and learn from it and also understand your parents why they thaught this way because I know about my parents when they were my age and they were teenager

Then she called me and said ki agar mummy tujhse kuchh poochhe to kehna u don't know anything. But aunty ne kuchh nhi kaha. I liked this content very much.... I am 37 yrs old and could easily relate myself to my childhood memories when I had gone through these crushes during my teenage. But I was clearly focussed towards my career and future. Today, when I remember those days, I just laugh 😁 Well, every teenager's life passes through this phase. But, we should never succumb to this feeling and start doing affair otherwise it badly affects career and life and we end up feeling with depression.

@ROHITSAINI-bt5dy2 жыл бұрын
But you didn't talk them hey buddy you had the advantage of being a child but they slapped you and change your school and you did the same but after changing school have you ever asked them why it is wrong to have a crush. You should have at least asked them. Sit with them talk to them about their teenage and show them how time change and believe me I am telling you with personal experience that Theory and practical are two different things so what we see on KZbin don't try to apply it on real life everytime. Like filter copy this video it show typical Indian parents but time have changed and parents are also changing but this thing need time because it is a transition phase so even you still hadn't asked your parents then sit with them smile with them and asked them and they will definitely tell you

Great content..!! Randomly came across this video but loved the script and acting of all involved.. Teenage crush is such an innocent and fabulous thing !!. But sometimes due to the fear of what parents think and peer pressure we tend to take it in a negative way and mishandle our thoughts leading to isolation and depression .. If all the parents educate their children and give them freedom to choose their own partner right from the teenage , then they will grow up and lookup to find the right and compatible partner to spend their life with...Kudos to entire team !!

@vanshika92612 жыл бұрын
@@avi_singhal15december not every parent is a GOOD one. You can say all you want but it's the truth and all this 'help' to lead your child on a good path just ends up creating their child more tangled than they already are. Especially in teenage. And no one is asking you to let children do everything they want but instead try to understand them. There is a huge difference btw being a good parent and being a close or an open minded parents. They're both different.
@avi_singhal15december2 жыл бұрын
@@vanshika9261 it's a fact that most children of the OPEN MINDED PARENTS would not like their parents in their adulthood eg. see rich kids brats MOSTLY . and those children have a good relationship between their parents who are little strict parents eg. middle class aur poor MOSTLY . and who said strict parents are not understanding people, you're just wrong minded brat 🙄. yeah not all parents are good , because some of them do domestic violence and that type of parents are just few in ratio

this is such an important short film and smth that is SO NEEDED in this age and time. every single thing shelly said left such a strong impression on me im literally in love w this story. what's extremely important is to treat a child as a person of their own. lashing out and forcing them to do smth just because you think it's right is just not it and it's gonna destroy the child in one way or the other. sure the child could be wrong but if you can correct them by explaning what's wrong in a calm manner there's a higher chance the child would be willing to understand and obey you. so much to take away from this seriously, dear kids if you're rejected that is NOT the end of the world and it does NOT make you worthless . and parents just please be gentler and more understanding with your kids you're supposed to be their safe place not someone they'd want to run away from. lowkey wish i had somene saying these things to me when i was younger🥲
