Can't get over the fact that the great RD Burman actually changed the scale of the antra and seamlessly blended it into the main scale at the end. This was way ahead of those times. Of course who else but the one and only Rafi sahab could have sung it the way he did. I can listen to this song in a loop without getting tired/bored. The violins in the 2nd music interlude are simply addictive.

Certainly one of the BEST Songs ever composed by R.D.Burmanda with top class rendition by Md.Rafi and natural expression of emotions by both Shammi Kapoor and Ashaji. The Picturisation of the Song was very well directed. Indeed a SUPERB Composition - one of my all time favourites.
