For all of you who are downing Camryn's ability to be captain are solely basing off her age saying she's too young or she's not ready or because Tamia dances harder. Camryn is just as good as a dancer as Tamia. Just because Tamia swings her hair a lot or whatever, doesn't make her better than Camryn. As far as age goes, Camryn is 14 and Tamia is 15, Tamia doesn't turn 16 until January, so there isnt much of an age difference so yall can stop all of the "Camryn's too young" comments. In my opinion, both Camryn and Tamia are good candidates for captain, but I think this captain thing is based off popularity and like Mrs D said Tamia is popular on the squad and everybody likes her so of course she's going to be captain. But that can also backfire because Tamia is friends with everybody on the squad so who's going to take her seriously? And I think Tamia wants to be captain for all the wrong reasons, in my opinion she's all about herself. When she's talking about coming to see the Dancing Dolls perform, she doesnt say "Come watch US perform" she always says "Come watch ME perform." I may be wrong but that's just my opinion. I dont doubt that she will be a good captain, I just think she's wants it for all the wrong reasons.

Gurl how did you get in my head and write down exactly what I have been thinking for awhile now about this whole Cammie vs Tamia captain business. Now I love Tamia to death she is seriously my fav doll right after Kayla but I am not totally sold on the idea of her being captain. I think it takes so much more than dancing ability which I just don't see she has. And your right when people say that Cammie is too young I be like they are only a year a part so like you said age shouldn't really matter unless they are basing it off maturity which honestly both seem silly and kinda immature to me but somehow I think Cammie would take the role a lot more seriously than Tamia as I have said before Cammie eats breathes and sleeps dance so you can tell she is going to work hard to hone her craft and make sure others do as well. Whereas Tamia just seems like someone who just dances well but will not put in the work to be captain. Honestly, I get the vibe that Tamia is a lazy dancer who does not push herself to her fullest potential and seems like she slacks off. And you are so right it seems like her intentions for wanting captain are based more on her popularity on the squad or trying to prove that she is more popular or something versus actually wanting it with all the responsibiltiy that comes with being captain. I follow her on both twitter and insta and yes she is a beautiful girl but most if not all her competition photos are of her and her alone posing and not featuring anyone else. But somehow she finds her way into everyone else's pics but posts photos of only herself. So it does seem like she is more focused on taking beauty shots than taking it with others but thats her perogative so it's whatever. It will definitely be interesting to see who gets captain in the end.

I think that the caption position can go either way because their both great dancers,Tamia she is like hair hair attitude and Cammie she was really good when she was throwing those stands and when I was looking at her on one episode do that performance on her own she changed her dance style from soft to bucking and I think thats really creative

I love Camryn and Tamia both. But Tamia would honestly make a better captain. A lot of people are saying she isn't captain material based on that ONE episode. We can't judge her off of that. I hope Mrs. D let's her lead a battle soon

She got on purple diamonds for throwing that stand where it looked like the the purple diamonds where beating up the dancing dolls, but then in the first stands that they just threw right now (a long as one too) they show dolls kicking others dolls in the head and dragging their bodies away implying that that's the other team. Well Camryn as the captain this will be an interesting episode to watch (if shown) though Camryn needs a bit of thug in her life sort of to be more like Kayla.I'd like to see Tamia in the Captains spot also to see how she throws these stands plus her leading style,but i've no doubt one day Camryn will be captain possibly after Tamia,though i have no preference whatever Miss D thinks is best for the team

Being a captain isn't all about swinging your hair and bucking hard because lets face it ALL of these girls buck hard af and swing their hair. Some harder than others but all with a level of swag and fierceness. Camryn goes hard just like Tamia does but Camryn is way more clean, precise and more versatile which to me puts her ahead of Tamia. Do I think Tamia would be a great captain? Yes but in my opinion Camryn would be better.

In my opinion Tamia is better at the bucking and binging the hard comp, but Cam is a better dancer all around and can give more of a fight and style as captain it is not all about the stand battle remember guys and girls. We are talking about Miss D's right hand lady here do everyone think that Tamia can handle that and she does not say much in practice at all. Can she lead the girls like I believe that Camryn can.

You know as much as I love Tamia I would have to agree about if she is really captain material. After seeing how she was helping or should I say not really helping the babies when they were working in small groups on that episode. Camryn seemed to have a much better handle on her group and she broke the stands down better. Also I just don't feel the drive from Tamia that I feel from Camryn. I mean you can tell Camryn eats, sleeps, and breathes dance but Tamia I just don't feel that from her as much. Don't get me wrong she is very talented and a beast when it comes to stand battle but I think it takes more than talent to be the captain. Also, sometimes at practice Tamia looks like she is bored or is not always paying attention. Rather she is biting her nails or playing with her hair or just staring off into space. Unlike Camryn who is taking in Ms. D's every word and remains attentive.

marvin glenn II people keep bringing up versatility but Kayla is not as versatile as camryn but she's a captain, It's not about versatility and if it is do people not remember that hip hop is Camryn's weak spot and they are mainly a Majorette and hip hop style team. Plus Camryn is still really young and has plenty of time to grow and become captain.
