Thank you for the information provided. I bought this ultra fry yesterday and am about to use it today. I checked some other air fryers info in order to get the idea about what I can cook in it. A lot of people put the greaseproof paper or tin foil at the bottom of the bowl so that it is easier to clean it. I am going to try it and just wanted to share this tip with your viewers.

I have the silver version. It's a really good one. And what I love about it is that you can put the food container into the dishwasher.

The black plastic nibs are made of silicone they are to stay in there they will not melt. They are protecting the side of your basket when you left the bottom out

Yes, confirmed. Google ... they are there to create a gap between the grid and the bottom. They are made from rubber and do not melt. They are obviously not packing materials.

Thank you for the honest review! I didn't know I needed to take out the silicon tabs. As a baker I can say that the metal basket is decent quality. The instructions were not the best, but I understand why. Translating so much info is expensive and printing all of that can make it even more confusing. Its important to understand the company too. Its expensive to write, translate and print so much text. Obviously they could've at least written it in English. All airfryers are loud because of the fan. Ovens aren't as loud because the fan is bigger and doesn't need to spin as much, because... Science! Also before cooking remove the sticker!!!

I was considering purchasing this on Amazon and one of the customers asked whether the ‘tabs’ needed to be removed from the trivet inside the basket. The manufacturer’s reply (Tefal) was to keep them on, just so you know.

@@nwong4594 when I wrote an e-mail to Tefal they told me to take them out. They can't be in if one of the pictures tells you not to flip the basket over or the tray will fall out. They need to get their story straight

Hello. For fries we use max temperarure and 15 or 20 minutes time. We check them and add time if necessary.

Hi. It's still working perfectly and you can do whatever you want with the timer, go down or up while it's running.

Welcome! Yes, the timer is mechanical, so not that precise. It can happen it cuts a bit too fast.

Not sure what you mean. Mine shows a few temperarure values, like 80°, 120°, 160° and 200°. You select what you need.

Thank You for this helpful video. I just bought one on sale but its digital. I also removed those plastic things around that Grill but wasn't sure about it. In my little book I don't have the color photos but I have the words, (fish, chicken etc.) I was wondering if I can put fries and chicken in together to make a meal instead of letting the chicken go cold as the fries are cooking. I also believe the gril stays in so the air can get under the food to make it evenly crisp. Thank you again for this helpful video. 🤗

Glad my video helps! We have startes to cook mixed food, if it needs similar temperature. We just remember to remove first the one that gets cooked first and leave the other one more.

I think it's perfectly understandable why people have doubts on whether they should remove those paddings or not. If the paddings were designed to be obvious and easily removed, for sure people would remove them. However, as shown in the video, Tefal even designed hooks on the tray just for those paddings, so it's understandable why people may think they could be actually part of the tray made from food grade silicone.
