I have the same issue, you can turn draw 2 off but not draw one! I thought my fryer was faulty

I tried pressing 'Manual' on the display, then set the temp, and I pressed Manual again and.set the time I wanted for drawer 2. Just check also that the drawer 1 is set to Off. Hope this helps!
