hi just stumbled across your channel, your reviews are great. we have just ordered the Easy Fry Dual XXL EY942HG0 which i believe is the largest one tefal do and looks similar (but larger) than the one in this video, im concerned now that we have made the wrong choice. do you know if some of the flaws you mentioned have been rectified in the one we bought? slow cooking/no food done beeps etc? we havent got it yet we ordered it last night

We bought this Tefal air fryer 3 weeks ago and we are very happy with it. At nearly £100 less than the equivalent Ninja air fryer, it suits our needs perfectly. The different sized drawers are a great idea and is one of the main reasons we bought this make.

You can change time and temp mid cooking by pressing stop, change settings then press start to continue cooking
@CandidClara4 ай бұрын
Yes, but on other models you can just increase the time, it’s crazy that you have to stop it first
@Bananas197326 күн бұрын
Just purchased one yesterday and it seems they have fixed a few problems. °You can change time & temp during cooking by pressing start/stop. °It beeps when cooking is completed. I haven't noticed the speed problem as we are coming from a kmart brand frier. Loved the video, very concise and informative.
@CandidClara25 күн бұрын
Thanks for the comment. You could originally press start/stop to change time, but on almost all other models I have tested you can simply press up or down while cooking is in process. The beep at the end is new though!

Hello. I am in the market for an air fryer. I love how you describe your videos as I am totally blind and I think you do a great job. I need an airfryer that can connect to my i phone using a screne reader called (Voice over) which is built in to the phone. I have found a Phillips 7000 xx or xxxl airfryer, however, evan though I have gone to several retailers in melbourne australia, they will not plug it in to connect my phone to it to see if it is accessible. Can you please tell me if you have used the above unit and what you think of it? Keep up the great work. Cheers. Michael
@CandidClara14 күн бұрын
Hi Michael, I am so disappointed by the retailers you have visited! This is such a basic request to see the abilities of the appliance you want to buy, perhaps the truth is they don't know how to do it? The XL which I have reviewed is not a fully smart air fryer, you can only see recipes in the app, you can't program it from the phone so I don't think that's what you are looking for. Several of the Cosori's are smart though, is it a dual drawer model you are after?
@Mr500music14 күн бұрын
@ That could be true that they probably don't even know how to do it! At the moment, I'm not sure if I'd prefer a single or dual drawer, but what is the biggest one that you could recommend by Cosori?
@CandidClara14 күн бұрын
That would be the Twin Fry (I’m not sure if it’s available in Australia though) it’s a model with one large drawer and a removable partition and it can be remotely controlled via the VeSync app

I had 2 draws going and I needed to increase the time on draw 2 by about 9 mins but didn't want draw 1 to continue. I am new to air frying and just assumed when I upped the time on draw 2 after draw 1 had finished that draw 1 would not continue to cook...anyway it did and I ended up with nice potato croquettes and a cremated chicken beast!. Thought I wanted something eaier to use, but I guess it like anything new I need to give myself time to adjust/get use to the functions. For me being able to do a simple roast for a family of 5 was important…. However, the cons for this is too great. I need the beep when the program finishes. I don't get it... Why are you making the smaller part of the meal in the larger room? I would be making a small portion of meat in the small room and a large amount of the important non-meat stuff in the large room. I don't get how you can make the mistake of switching the two, I need twice as much of potatoes or veggies if not more compared to meat in my meals, I don't think I've ever had a situation where the meat was the larger part of the total meal.
@CandidClara4 ай бұрын
In this video I actually cook sausages in the small drawer and vegtables in the large. I would presume people want the flexibility of the larger space to cook meat so that they can cook joints as they contain large bonmes which you don't eat and so people can have the leftovers on later days
