After being an induction hob refuser I finally took the plunge and purchased a portable induction hob for camping which is actually very good, it’s only about the size of a 15” laptop and I carry it in an old laptop bag. Having bought the Induction hob I needed some new pans to use with it and choose the Tefal Ingenio unlimited and I have been very impressed with the frying pans (not purchased any pots). I was slowly moving away from non stick pans but these have persuaded me to stick with them (pun intended) I have even bought some for our car camping trips where I use gas (and occasionally the induction hob) and they have performed very well as they do on our gas cooker at home.

Question...do the holes in the lids (for the handles) cause problems with steam escaping when you need a complete seal?

@@calhounmo the holes in the lid do not let any steam through at all when the little handles are screwed on. I don’t know how it is managed but it is very well constructed.

This was actually very useful pal - thank you. Struggled to find lots of the info I wanted re.these pans which surprised me - so thanks again! Just a few questions if ever you get the time to answer - 1) do you have to make sure you immediately take the handles off when cooking on the hob? If they’re left on a minute or so is that a no go? 2) Do the lids being flat mean you can’t see through them when cooking? Like do they get all condensed up? Cheers man ❤
@andysreviewsandsmarthometips5 ай бұрын
Hi and thank you for the kind comment. I leave the handles on while cooking. I just take them off when washing. The pans go in the dishwasher and I manually clean the handles. Generally I find I can see through the lids just fine. They condensate at first but usually clear fairly quickly so it’s all good. I have had this set for about 3 years now and they’re still going strong. Hope you have a great day and don’t hesitate if you have other questions 😊

Thanks for the video, my old T-Fal pan just started losing its coating and I came across your review when I went looking at this line. Not sure I need the pots but the whole set seems really interesting and you can throw it in one cupboard and call it a day.

Yes, the benefit of taking up less room is greatly appreciated since I have a small kitchen. By the way, thank you very much for the comment and I appreciate it. I would definitely say that this set is worth the money as it has been through a lot of stress with me and is still going strong. Hope you have a wonderful day and if you do decide to get them, I hope you enjoy them as much as I do.

Thank you so much for those really kind words, I really do appreciate it. I will be making some more videos soon. At the moment I have been concentrating on doing a little project with Aqara. They have featured me in a couple of their videos, highlighting the benefits of a smart home for people with disabilities. I will be making more videos though rest assured and once again, thank you so much for your extremely kind words I really do appreciate it.

Absolutely love your video. I’ve just recently purchased the same thing but mine is slightly different. I’ve got 13 pieces with mine where you can put your pan in the fridge with the plastic lids on. I had a quick look at some reviews before purchasing and I’m watching yours just to get an idea, that I purchased a good make. mine was on sale so I paid £120 and I think on Amazon I saw the same product but slightly different and it was more money but I couldn’t quite understand why it was more money because it didn’t have as many things. Like I said thanks for the great video. I now know that my pans will last a long time..

Thank you very much for the kind comments, they will definitely last as we have had ours of three years now and they are still going strong. The only problem that I thought I was going to face was the handles. One of them became stiff for a couple of days, but I basically, washed it out thoroughly and it stopped sticking so I am really happy with them. Have a great day. 😊
