Got this in the cupboard, picked it up from Bents Garden Centre in Warrington. Knew it was always going to be a quality German brew 😀

When you see that look on your face after a taste, you know a Stone the Crows is coming…nice. Yet another thing I learn from your reviews is the adjectives used to describe aromas and tastes. Many times, something is “familiar” but can’t quite get it translated from the brain. Now when tasting, I slowly start to develop a larger canvas of descriptions to choose from. Nicely done. Cheers.

Picked this up the other week alongside Tegernseer Hell. Both such clean, crisp beers.

The things your wife might enjoy are the common surrounds at that place and people to talk to. So if you do end up going to some European cities it might help to hook up with some of your viewers, especially if they're a couple so it's not all just about beer talk. I'd very much recommend Cologne, apart from it's many brands of Koelsch there is a lot to see, especially the dome, you can take a day trip down the Rhine on a boat past many picturesque castles and it's very well connected by train in all directions. The main train station is right beside the dome itself, so there's not much driving around required if you get accommodation close by. Countries like Belgium and Luxemburg are close by and the older parts are great. Many people seem to overlook the sheer beauty of Luxemburg when visiting Europe. Also if you do go to Belgium, Brugge is a must. Heading south along the Rhine (fast rail) you can duck into Strassbourg(daytrip to Colmar as well) on your way to Munich. If you'd rather visit old but lively student towns I could also recommend Freiburg and/or Bamberg. If you get a Eurail pass you can travel several times on all trains in Europe in a given time and it'll save money and you can be flexible.
