The understeer on throttle is due to an inside rear spinning by the way. If it was a front spinning then it'd be pushing a lot more and you'd feel it more in the steering as it's spinning. You called it very early on at 4:35. If it is a genuine RS diff in it either it's worn out or they haven't corrected the clutchpack orientation (although even stock the ones I've driven have still been pretty good). All Evo 7-9 will have a front helical lsd as standard or if this one is upgraded should lock up more also but this seems like a very open rear diff paired with a potentially non-acd center or ACD in tarmac mode. If you do have ACD it can be mapped to Ralliart variants (Lee Bell offers this as a service) which lock up more but again in gravel and snow modes stock it should lock the front and rear together quite nicely. Not to be a downer though it's an amazing platform and a really awesome starting point, once it's dialed in will be an absolute weapon, best of luck with it :)

Have you tried playing around with the centre diff settings? Slightly different but I have a wrx sti spec c with the dccd and mechanical diffs. If you change it to more rear biased it completely changes the handling of the car, With tighter corners, try using weight transfer and using the push understeer to pull you out of corners.

The reason we went to Three Sisters was because we already had data from our FN2 so we could compare. Plus it's only an hour up the road for us too!
