The serial came in the early 90s dude most of the extras in the show are aspiring actors or some models they came cheap so u can't except good acting skills from them. In the 90s acting even in most of the movies are mediocre . To 21st century audience like us all this shows are cringey or even regressive but it is still a nostalgia for people like my brother who are 90s kids.
