I honestly love how bizarre Tehom is. She doesn’t even die she just goes back inside the crack in reality she emerged from.

I. Love. This. Boss. This had to be Atlus's peak direction in my opinion. The bizzare, otherwordly design of Tehom without being a mess of lines, curves and random stuff (making me appreciate Masayuki Doi even more as an artist), the music being a more eerily version of Yoko's theme (while retaining its harmony) and the idea of the boss switching affinities (according to abusing its weakness) so that only a well-balanced team with different demons can make a winning chance by adapting in every turn. Which is why I loved seeing Omega swapping demons and showing most of its party like it's a real team effort. At lastly... Inception of Chaos is so cool.

I find it hilarious that you defeat Tiamat, the embodiment of the primordial sea, and Yoko responds by summoning the _even more_ primordial depths. She one-ups herself.

​@@mads_in_zero It has the same designation in Japanese as Mem Aleph's final form, so it's probably not even something stable, like Tiamat was. Just an echo of the primeval chaos, a momentary glimpse of the nothing from which everything may arise she so desperately wished to return the broken world that rejected her to.

generally all of the sephira are too abstract to embody before 4, but tehom especially doesn't have gender or avatar, not really even being a thing, much less a concept.

Beyond that, Tehom is essentially the "nothing" before Creation - in Babylonian, Egyptian, Biblical and so on mythologies. Before God/s came into existence, or made anything - the blank canvas of matter and energy that is essentially, a featureless existence of unlimited potential, but no development. Things are made "out of" Tehom as it were.

Everytime I watch a Vengeance video I'm blown away by all the strategies people employ, I also must've done something wrong because I only played this on normal and she constantly dekunda'd me while using her sleep move and inception of chaos 3 times throughout the whole fight before her ai litterally gave up and just gave me the win 40 mins later 😅......

If you play offensive and switch its affinities one by one per turn as I did, she is kinda locked to only using the element you hit. Also it won't go for the Magatsuhi until you hit all of the affinities too. Also helps to null its press turns with good affinities of your own, so it doesn't get more actions.

@@Edward-hq8ct Yeah I was using an almighty move, and only barely realized about the elemental option like halfway through. Didn't know that would cause her to do all of that 😰

I was wondering about this myself, my primary damage came from Yabusame Shot, Murakumo, Freikugel etc so I wasn't dealing with the weaknesses. When I did the fight again on the simulator in ng+ I used elemental gems to secure extra press turns. The entire fight felt different, as if I wasn't even playing the same battle. It's wild.

This fight is a struggle when you didn't bring a bunch of coverage on your demons. I was dealing with Tehom spamming their Hp/Mp drain move, I just constantly had no mp and had to slowly whittle down her health with Agrat's Queen's Decree. The fight took 45 Minutes lmfao Still fun tho although the boss heavily reminds me of Orphan from the Final Fantasy 13
