Crazy Timing. No need to pop the ball joint, remove axle, and all that. Simply slip it out of the fork, bring it down and out the side. I'm also in the process of installing BCs on my 6MT. Used your rear camber kit video as guide. Great content

I love the BC Coilovers BR series way more than the Teins due to my style of driving. Teins are just won’t hold the tight corners like the BC. 4G TL is just too heavy and needs a stiff suspension to hug the corners in my opinion. Front coil spring rate 62 200 010 Rear Coil Spring Comment down below what you prefer for your TL

I'm running fortune auto coilovers with swift springs. They (Fortune Auto) sold me a spring rate their recommended rate that was way to soft with springs that are to short (binding occured before bump stops) and I had to upgrade to swift with my own calculations for spring rates. I'm using 14k front and 10k rear. Perfect for street and spirited driving. If you track the car I would go up 2kg front and rear from where I am currently. Maybe more. I'm also running 19x10 35et wheels with 275 all four corners.

@@burton3728 I have a similar set up Fortune Auto with swift spring 10k front/6k rear. 18x9.5 +45 265 all around. The prices on fortune auto are really expensive now

I just got the Tien street Z coilovers (they are brand new but only cost me 350$) only sad thing is they didn't come with the wrench but my buddy has a whole set of different sizes. I'm not looking to race or zip around corners. The previous owner of my acura had 20in rims so I put 18x9.5 +35mm rims. But these camber kits and toe arms all together cost almost as much as coilovers lol

if you drive on uneven and bumpy roads, is it harder to control the car due to the stiffer bc spring rate? I have tein coilovers (advance z) and I feel like its kind of scary driving on bumpy roads even though cars with stock suspension zoom right past me.

When you say softer, is that with the Tein set to it's stiffest setting? I tried on mine and it was like driving on rails. I had to turn it a bit softer, even with spirited driving. I'm currently at 3 rear, 4 front. Front was at 3 but I was feeling every single pebble lol. Or maybe it's the springs that are stiffer? I am curious

I hurt my neck running BC lol. I am an old man though so I went with Tein. If I really want to stiffen it up, I can always change out the springs.

You can’t go wrong with Teins they’re comfortable and won’t ride too stiff

I know the Tein SA Z’s has the 100mm, 200mm, 300mm Flexible Damper Extensions. How long was the BC Damper extensions on yours? Still whether to get the Teins or the BC’s

Thanks ! I don’t think it will fit since the adjustment knob on the bc is much bigger than the Tein’s adjustment knobs

Nice! Would love to switch the BC simply just for the styling, and better cornering is a bonus for sure haha. On another note, when did you go back to SRI, did I miss a video? Are you still running the dryer vent to it?

Thanks bro ! I went back to sri around march this year because I wanted to get tuned with it on. Plus I got it for free 😅 but I will be switching to stock intake (with my custom cold air intake) in the summertime and back to Sri once it gets cold

What all do you have done engine wise to your acura? I'm about to install my first set of tien street z coilovers once I get the strut and shock mounts. I only paid 350$ brand new (the owner crashed his car before putting them on) but I don't plan on driving fast. Jacksonville, FL has some unforgiving roads so I'll be all show and no go. But the toe arms, rear and front camber kits is what's really keeping me from putting the new tiens on.

For my set up I only used the rear camber kit and no camber kit on the front with Coilovers. Alignment was still close to spec on the front

My rear seat is so much harder to remove that yours. I want to stiffen my Tein’s after getting different tires but not looking forward to removing the seat again.

I’m looking at coil overs now and noticed the top hats have 4 and yours have 3? Did you just remove that whole brace? I’m confused on how to do this

You probably saw the top hats for the rear Coilovers. The front Coilovers has about 5 studs on top and the rear Coilovers has about 3 total studs sticking out

Hey garret question maybe you can help. I spoke to a custom muffler shop about a j pipe for 12 tl base. They said my car does not come stock with a j pipe is this true? They also said I would need new headers if I wanted to do high flowing cats.

I've heard we have weak subframe mounting points for the RSB guys on the forums said they tore their rear subframes 🙄

The TEIN are made in china now also. They used to be made in Japan but it’s been changed also. Loving the BC Coilovers till today

@GarrettMedia Marcus from heeltoe addresses this.. understand they're still designed in Japan, materials shipped from Japan and assembled in China.. for expansion to Chinese market. TEIN isn't a Chinese company.
