Sekhon was a fighter pilot who was commissioned into the IAF in 1967 and in 1968 he joined the No. 18 Squadron which popularly known as flying bullet . He was a Gnat pilot based in Srinagar during the Indo-Pakistan War of 1971. On December 14, 1971, Sekhon was on duty when the Srinagar airfield was attacked by six Pakistani Sabre jets. Sekhon took off in his Gnat to engage the enemy, and in the resulting dogfight, he was eventually sacrificed his life

Flying Officer Nirmal Jit Singh Sekhon belonged to the 18th Squadron of the Indian Air Force: Sekhon was a Gnat pilot in the 18th Squadron, which was known as "The Flying Bullets". He was based in Srinagar during the 1971 Indo-Pak war, where he defended the air base against Pakistani air attacks. On December 14, 1971, Sekhon was on readiness duty when the Srinagar airfield was attacked by six Pakistani F-86 jets. This painting isnt even that good compared to some other military paintings like 1 The Charge of the Scots Greys by Lady Butler A K A Elizabeth Thomspson 2 The Battle of Blenheim 1704 by John Wootton 3 John Singer Sargent, ‘Gassed’ (1919). 4 Napoleon Crossing the Alps 5 Battle of Cesme at Night 6 Washington Crossing the Delaware 7 Revolt of Cairo there is no end to beautiful paintings and Indian army somehow choose this piece of child drawing

Tejas humko ho kam par raha hai export karenge kese, Tejas ke remaining orders agar 2026 tak engine delivery streamline ho jaya phir bhi 2028-29 tak HAL complete kar sakti hai Tejas Mk1A ke orders. Phir Tejas Mk2 bhi tab tak ready hojayega, tab uske order complete hote hote 2035-36 lag jayenge agar. Better abhi export mat jana hai, after 2030 agar production line streamline ho tab export sochna chahiye. Aur behtar hai ki Tejas Mk2 ko market karo naki Tejas Mk1A ya Tejas Mk1 ko.

I wish Congo and Nigeria chooses Tejas fighter for their squadron. LCA is a good platform for combination of agility, low radar signature, lightweight design, ability to carry a variety of weapons, a good balance between air superiority and ground attack capabilities . But the delivery delay for indian airforce itself is a doubt they will choose Tejas as their first preference over jf17 flying garbage
