In 2020 I tried to get job in CAPF I was shortlisted for physical test and my examination centre was CISF headquarter shaktinagar ( sonbhadra), there I saw a assistant commandant who was behaving very rudely with his staff.. he used to stare constables The environment of that headquarter was very tensed I think only assistant commandant and inspector are enjoying their job and all the other staff looks like slave That was commandant continually barking on low rank colleague And I also understood that half of CISF personnel were suffering from mental trauma

577 CAPF personal lost their lives because of diseases. It's a very big number compare to their operation al casualties. It means the health facility government is providing them is not up to mark. Government should immediately take a proactive action plan to save those lives. They are our real heroes n national assets. They come first before us always.

The U.S. under President Nixon and Henry Kissinger opposed India's support for Bangladesh's liberation due to several factors. First, Nixon and Kissinger viewed Pakistan as a crucial Cold War ally against Soviet influence, prioritizing it despite its military actions in East Pakistan. They feared that an Indian victory would shift power dynamics in South Asia, undermining U.S. interests and relations with China. Additionally, U.S. officials underestimated the strength of the Bengali independence movement, believing the Pakistani military could effectively suppress it. Furthermore, reports detailing the humanitarian crisis were overshadowed by geopolitical strategies, leading to a lack of U.S. intervention. Nixon ordered the deployment of the Seventh Fleet to intimidate India and sought a ceasefire through the UN, reflecting alignment with Pakistan's narrative. In summary, U.S. opposition stemmed from its alliance with Pakistan, geopolitical fears, and a failure to acknowledge the humanitarian crisis and the Bengali people's right to self-determination. This stance placed the U.S. at odds with India and the Soviet Union, who supported Bangladesh's liberation. U.S. intelligence reports during the Bangladesh Liberation War highlighted the severe humanitarian crisis, detailing key events such as Operation Searchlight, a brutal campaign by Pakistan against the Bengali population that involved mass killings and targeted violence. Archer Blood, the U.S. Consul General in Dhaka, described the situation as genocide and urged action from Washington. Despite these warnings, Nixon's administration chose to align with Pakistan, fearing that Indian military actions could destabilize the region. Casualty estimates during the conflict ranged from 300,000 to 3 million, with millions displaced. Although the UN acknowledged the atrocities, formal recognition of genocide by the U.S. was slow. The U.S. policy during the war was marked by a complex interplay of geopolitical interests and miscalculations, ultimately prioritizing its Cold War strategy over humanitarian concerns. India's involvement was crucial and marked by military intervention, with coordinated operations alongside the Mukti Bahini beginning on December 3, 1971. This led to a decisive victory, culminating in the surrender of over 93,000 Pakistani troops. India also opened its borders to approximately 10 million refugees fleeing violence in East Pakistan, which placed immense strain on its resources. In addition to military action, India sought international backing for the Bangladeshi cause, facing significant challenges due to U.S. support for Pakistan. Despite the Nixon administration's military presence in the Bay of Bengal, India remained committed to Bangladesh's liberation. The successful intervention solidified India's status as a regional power, reshaping the geopolitical landscape in South Asia. The legacy of this conflict fostered enduring ties between India and Bangladesh, emphasizing principles of self-determination and human rights amid geopolitical pressures. Nixon's derogatory remarks about India included calling Indian women "the most unattractive" and expressing disdain for the Indian populace. These comments reflect deep-seated prejudices that influenced U.S. foreign policy during this period.
