A timely warning. THANKYOU, I wouldn’t have done it by hand anyway. But rather scary that the valves on these are only hand tight.

I've seen some PKP extinguishers that have a small external CO2 canister for charging. But most are charged when filled. A fun little mini-series, thanks

If they're nitrogen filled like here you're kinda right you fill it through the discharge nozzle to certain psi and weight of the bottle but no need to push the handle down to do so they valve open naturally when the pressure on the outside is greater. The other fill by a valve above the pressure guage itself

I think your onto it, with feeding the gas in through the outlet, thus metering the pressure as it builds up.

Ide be tempted to try a carboot sale selling the better looking ones for say £10 each for the large ones €5 for the small if the gauge is in the green they would sell I think

ive so many coming now 60-80 a week that i need to just shift them till i have a bit of room to think about creative options, I as they are out of date i dont really want to sell as a fire extinguisher
@EMO22retired2 жыл бұрын
30 years using these. You add air to pressurize the cylinder leave it standing up right. To take the pressure off by tipping it up side down puts the air by the tube with out emptying the tank to refill and have at it. Should have a air fitting to add the air.
@Man-in-da-shed2 жыл бұрын
