TEKEM HERMINE NADEGE. Mental Health Nurse, MHGAP Trainer, PFA Provider. Cameroon.
Bio:
With over six years of dedicated experience in mental health nursing, I specialize in providing compassionate care and support in a liaison psychiatric hospital setting. As a certified MHGAP trainer and Psychological First Aid (PFA) provider, I am committed to equipping professionals and communities with essential mental health skills.
My passion for mental health extends beyond the hospital walls; I actively participate in task shifting initiatives, empowering communities to better address their mental health needs. In the past year, I equally participated in successfully trained 13 community mental health technicians in a comprehensive one-year course, fostering a new generation of skilled professionals dedicated to improving mental health outcomes.
I believe that everyone deserves access to quality mental health care, and I strive to make a difference every day through education, support, and advocacy.
