I have used both castle motors and ESCs but only have ran Tekin’s motors, unfortunately I have never used a Tekin ESC and I run a 17 thousand member FB group dedicated to “RC Tips and Tricks”. I absolutely love your roc412 motors, I also own a T8 2650kV that I have yet to find the limit to and your servos reviews are good so I just wanna say thank you for the great products throughout the years and please keep the KZbin build series going. I’d really like to see some large scale rigs like a limitless or a UDR or Yeti XL.

Nice run 👍 I guessed 63mph yesterday on IG . I had a Traxxas Bandit Dragster w/ a Castle 8 sidewinder it took me months of tweaking and tuning but, I finally hit 80mph. I can say its not easy, but you'll get, I'm watching. Later 🤠🇺🇸☝️

Stiffen up the diff so it applies power evenly to both rear tyres and soften the rear shocks so it loads the tyres up better to make use of the torque.

Steven Curtis-Rich nah turn it into a funny car, no rear suspension so the tyres wrinkle and grip better

Nice Vid! I have a gen 2 RX8/T8 2050kv combo in my Rc8b3.1e. I watched all your vids on the hotwire settings, but still confused on how throttle & brake frequency effect the car. Could you elaborate in a future video? Thanks
@TekinRacing5 жыл бұрын
I can add that to the list of tech videos, sure! Basically the frequencies on both throttle and brake affect how aggressive they are. Lower frequencies are more aggressive and higher are less aggressive and soften up the feel.

Can you tell what kind of rear tires you have?I have an Hpi 1/10 scale and I can't find any wide big tires for it..

The tires are Pro-Line Hoosiers and the wheels are their Pomona drag wheels for short course truck platforms.

Are your speeds at 132ft
@Archiewinter9205 жыл бұрын
Is the boost applied linearly between the start and end rpm values? So if you add 30 degrees boost it would come in at (eg) 23000rpm at 1 degree and end at 35000 at 30 degrees? Hope that make sense?!
@TekinRacing5 жыл бұрын
Yep! Once the start RPM is reached, the boost starts adding in until the end RPM is reached, then all of the user-set boost will be in.
@Archiewinter9205 жыл бұрын
@@TekinRacing so 'IF' you wanted, you could add boost for a lift in the middle of the motor RPM range - not sure why, maybe for some extra zip out of a corner.
@TekinRacing5 жыл бұрын
We do have Turbo that stacks on top of Boost and is activated when you're at full throttle for longer than the set Turbo Delay. Then you can also adjust how hard the Turbo hits with the Turbo Ramp rate. More for straightaways than corners but I see what you're saying!

I have not marked a 132' run yet. It's too cold and the traction is minimal and it just snowed 5" so I don't think I'll get to run it again for a while.

It's called GPS Speedometer by Tech Arena Apps, seems to work really well and it's nice that it records and keeps top speed as well as average, distance, time. Not bad for a free app!

That's a sweet body I think I would use that for something like a Kyosho GT2 Inferno on road if it would fit or a or Mugen mrx6x e on road I'f it would fit I think that drag racing is for broke rc dudes who can only afford 2 wheel dr. Rcs cause their cheapest I'm not knocking it. I would just much rather drag with a 4x4 on road already something like a touring car fuck that rear wheel DR. Only I have a shit ton of rear wheel drive rc cause I once was the broke guy
