it's the 80s for sure. Tekken 1 early 80s, tosses Kazua off in the cliff in the 70s >> Tekken 2, the 1980s >> Tekken 3, late 90s - early 2000s >> tekken 4 2005-2010 > Tekken 5-6-7 2015-2030. Jin's world war was being fought with future tech from a mw game. So it makes sense.
