No, actually it didn't at all. It has outdated graphics and is very unbalanced. This game was great at the time but today it's poor. Yes, I played and loved Tekken 3 as a kid too. But I don't let nostalgia cloud my judgement.

When I was a kid, I remember my dad's work mate gave him this to give to me. I'd played the demo hundreds of times on a disc I had, but never owned the game. Putting Tekken 3 in my PlayStation and booting it up properly for the first time is something I'll never forget. One of my favourite PS1 games ever.

If only Namco could have kept the soundtracks for all the games sounding like Tekken 3's...The Dubstep garbage they have now is cancerous to the ears to listen to. Everyone in Tekken 3 had a perfectly good song. Tekken Tag had some great ones as well, just not nearly as many as Tekken 3.

music like 2 is great love the force and volleyball modes but I like the roster from 2 more.....gameplay though is way smoother and more expanded hard to believe its the same system that 2 was on.
