The thing people do is, see the situation as black or white. Tekken 7 never took away from his plans of global domination. It just added that, Heihachi, despite being an evil asshole, was also trying to remove the devil gene from the world. The same devil gene that, from his perspective, ruined his normal life. Remember that Tekken isn't good vs evil, it's simply a family dealing with their traumas and goals, in their own way.

@@aligamerable Please bro remember this, before tekken 7, in tekken 3 to 4, it is indicated that Heihachi wanted to be all powerful, his main goal about Jin and Kazuya wasn’t to destroy the devil gene and save the world but to obtain the devil gene because in tekken 4 it is said that his become all powerful experiment failed with Ogre’s genetics because it needed the Devil gene too so for me Heihachi will always be evil.

@@reybadagong7637 I never said he wasn't evil. In T4, he wanted devil gene so he could successfully combine Ogre's blood with his own. He never wanted the power of the devil gene itself. Only for the purpose of mixing Ogre's blood. If he got his hands on Kazuya and/or Jin he'd get to kill them and use their gene to get Ogre's powers. It's a win-win.

Yeah, this is one instance where I think they simplified it down more to Heihachi trying to get rid of Kazuya and Jin with this tournament rather than the hunt for immortality storyline they had in Tekken 3 as well. I feel like there probably was a change in writers between 4 and 5 where they decided to lighten up the tone and give more of a comedic focus when needed

They should've done that for Tekken 6. Imagine if the plot of Tekken 6 was that Sergei Dragunov found Heihachi's Ogre research from this game and Jin uses Tekken Force to get it back but gets caught which starts World War 3 instead of Jin being emo and causing it on purpose.

Lines of dialogue spoken: Kazuya: "What did you do with Jin Kazama?" Heihachi: "Ha... I'll tell you after the fight." 12:31 Heihachi wins! Then we see his Epilogue pages where he leads Kazuya out of the Arena and to Jin. Heihachi's ending takes place in the Hon Maru stage.
