What does df+3 mean?

@@vixionvortexarchives 1 = LP (left punch / square), 2 = RP (right punch / triangle), 3 = LK (left kick / X), 4 = RK (right kick / circle). D = down. F = Forward. Df = down + forward.

It happens my default in practice mode. You can even use it in arcade/other modes, by toggling it on/off with the select button.

To this day I can perform all these combos lol....pro tip,when your hands are red you can’t block but you do guard damage...so if your opponent was playing turtle you could bait them out or get damage done....at a cost.

Yup, the "red hands" trick is useful for that. IIRC, in Tekken 4, it also completely nullifies Yoshi's sword attacks when timed right, like in TK3.

Awesome work man! Tell me, how did you get Jin's story mode outfit in practice mode?

It's a very simple memory edit. Each character have four slots in memory (Pauls are 0,1,2,3.) Most characters only have 2-3 outfits, so slots 0,1,2 are used. (using a slot without a costume usually makes you use the opponents model.) Jin's costume slots are 36-39, 39 is his shirtless outfit. 38 is a duplicate of his white and black outfit, except his sounds sometimes bug out when using that costume. So, all I do, is force the game to load costume 39 when starting the game.

@@mogueraguh To do it on console, you'd need to somehow manipulate the game's memory either live, or via some cheats that get triggered when the game launches. I'm not aware of anything like that, so unlikely that it can be done on console.

Yes, I exist! Everything's doing fine in my life. You can get Tekken 4 for PC by getting a PS2 emulator like PCSX2, and then using your Tekken 4 Disc to play, or you can search the internet for one.

How do I actually do Special throw at 2:43? Is it you do both at the same time or do you wait until he grab the opponent and then use the u/b 3+4

This has to be my favourite Tekken from them all. Tbh I don't find Tekken 7 very entertaining, there isn't even any classic game modes. Not even proper Arcade more nor Story mode.

"Lunging Low Roundhouse Kick". DD probably wont work on TK7, as afaik, Jin can "wavedash" like Kazuya can, unlike in Tekken 4.
