Hey fellow King and A. King players, I've had way more success with this input when I consider the command like this: The move feels more like f,n,f~f+2+4. A lot of people are suck on mastering this because the f,f,f+2+4 input itself is wrong. Notations below: KEY: ~ immediately after n joystick or controller in neutral + at the same time 2 right punch 4 right kick

How it work
@AvoidingthePuddle13 жыл бұрын
@vicbygod No, moves like running cross chops, shoulder tackles and slides are only doable in a true running state, or during a tag in in TTT2.
@AvoidingthePuddle13 жыл бұрын
@jclarke90 For iWR that is not buffered out of a move, which is the case for wavedash into iWR, you must input the fff as fast as possible. No delay after the first F input.

Its been 12 years and I'm here trying to learn instant while running
@ph0xal1c10u511 жыл бұрын
For those wondering, the jab is not necessary, its there simply to mask the movement, you dont need to do any move first in order to do it, you simply need to be touching your opp. Use this also to create mix ups with AK. Do a couple to get them used to you doing it, then hopkick, or switch to the WR3 which will hit crouchers, and if they block you got +frame. Its probably the most important aspect of Dragunov's game as well, his WR2 is a +frame CH launcher. Thanks Aris
@AvoidingthePuddle13 жыл бұрын
@XxgearbusterxX The second and third f inputs have to be done as fast as possible.
@keyonte011 жыл бұрын
The way it works is that you buffer a dash, and during the frames of the dash, the third foward turns it into a run. Doing it fast enough makes it seem instant, but there's still at least a frame of running whether you see it or not.

I always thought I could never pull a iSW when I was so close to the opp... But I just did one a few minutes ago, thanks to your tutorial.

my friends told me, its just practice practice and practice. I myself have played King and Armor King since the beginning and just played thoroughly this year (studying basics and advanced moves to pokes and iSW) it takes a LOT of practice and patience i understand how u feel when u cant do an iSW my friends say that u focus on just moving ur joystick everytime when u have time and then practice from bounds then running grabs then wallsplat then running grabs then do the iSW (point blank)

@vicbygod Kazuya have wr+3 - mid with plus frames on block it can be done with this technique also from wavedash so sometimes it's useful when they afraid to attack cause of EWGF and in this situation we've got + frames on block or knd if they're ducking. They can also side step it in one dirrection but that's a different story...

Nice tutorial, still this video leaves a little question. After the bound moves in a juggel for e.g. I finnish with d+2 and after that I usually hit as many times as I can the f button to gain running on AK but and hit my throw button. This is wierd in a way becouse it feels sometimes it hits and somtimes not. So is the "time box" to hit the throw big ( if you get this, you need to be very exact with the timing on it).

what commands did you buffer out of or input at 5:07? To fast to tell.
@RedThunderSP9 жыл бұрын
Hi Aris. This video was extremely informative in explaining the usage in the technique. The reason I'm inquiring about the technique is because I saw Knee doing this in a majority of his Tekken 7 streams, but wasn't sure if it was possible to do in other Tekken games. I play on DPad (and stick occasionally) and I haven't had any success with this. I understand the foundation and the idea, but the problem I have is executing the technique. I main Leo and while it's probably not the best for her, I would still like to utilize it in my play and my fundamentals. I can get a FF after the buffered move (or w/o the buffered move) so I'm wondering how you're able to get the last F to come out.
@RedThunderSP9 жыл бұрын
***** So, I was able to figure out the rhythm for the iWR. My current problem is bufferring iWR out of a move.
@InfernoZX59 жыл бұрын
***** you feel different rhythms between two barriers. On a ps3 pad doing the move strangely makes it easier to feel the pattern but from a naked entry it's much different. You actually hear it clearly. On a ps3 pad, you have to input the attack button earlier in the press of the forward because the pad is relatively sensitive to press so you don't have to push it ally the way in to get an input so instead of f f f+3 its kinda like f f 3~f. Make sense?
@SmallManOnUniversalCredit9 жыл бұрын
+「Breaker」™ Buffering iWR out of a moves is easier than the point blank zero distance iWR. Try buffering f in the recovery of the move and do ff like a regular dash with the 3 at the same time. You can also think of it as once you have buffered the first f in the recovery of a move, just do fF3. It will be hard at first but it's pretty easy once your muscle memory kicks in.

@AvoidingthePuddle at 5:07 I noticed it looked like u did the iwr out of a crouching dash or something .... how did u just do that w/o a jab lol
@BaronZTUKHH11 жыл бұрын
Well yeah of course, but the point is that you cut the animation/frames down to such a minute level where it is essentially instant. 60fps, so if even there is still a frame of running, it is that small that it makes no difference to the eye. A 60th of a second is not exactly noticeable.
@OverKiiiillll12 жыл бұрын

No because Aris is explaining how to do Instant while running moves for which you do not run/dash at all. That's why it's called Instant while running, because you access a running move, but instantly without the run.

@TekkenboyTZ No. Not like, it IS a buffed iSW at point blank range.

@angrypat40237 жыл бұрын
Fear OfSilence All i can say is make sure you press the 2 button with the final forward, so the input is f, f, f+2. This is essential. The final forward and 2 must be hit together. Good luck!

@Autoswitched7 жыл бұрын
probably mastered it by now by the way I do it is, i press foward + the button wait a little bit for the move to recover, and then press double forward + 2 pretending i'm doing his f,f+2 bound.
@fearofsilence_7 жыл бұрын
you guys are awesome for replying I haven't mastered it. I can do it consistently occasionally but it is different when you're practicing and fighting. I'll keep working at it and use your advice.
@xenvj5 жыл бұрын
@@fearofsilence_ Here's a way more consistent tip. Treat f,f as a stance and you're trying to execute f+2 while in the stance. *This helped me do iWR consistently.* Or Think of doing a f+2 out of a dash instead of doing f,f,f+2 as soon as possible.
@Zeextremekid13 жыл бұрын
You should make a video with all the characters doing instant-wr. And explain how you did it with those characters. Chars like: Kazuya, Lar, Law, King, A.King, Julia and Dragunov should be used as examples.

when i play my training buddy, if i jab up close, he's going to crouch because he knows i'm buffering a grand swing. does that mean that i can only apply this as a juggle ender? another question, how do i know when practising this on a crouching opponent that the grab is a shining wizard and not a standard 2+4 grab?
@anyadatanydata12 жыл бұрын
"You can also do IWR with a f+1 jab..[forward is already buffered] Then do f,f+2+4.." Does this actually work? Or i should buffer 1 more f, f+1 f, f,f+2+4 or f+1 already buffers the first "f" so you just only need to hit f,f+2+4. I can do like df+2, IWR2 , like df+2 f f f+2, but i can't seem to help myself with any buffers. So for example in comboes like qcf+2, f+4,2, f f+2, that isn't an iwr+2 am i right? Tho i can do IWR2 to bound but i can't do f f +2 no matter how hard i try. Any tips?

@jcp10316 It is still applicable in DR, I have just learnt iSW with Armor King in T6:BR mainly from this tutorial. I found the easiest method to be: f, n, d, df+2, iSW. I personally wouldn't bother with the jab method for now, it's far more difficult than learning by using the DU as the buffer move. If you need any more help feel free to PM me :)

1. No offense, but the title of this video is WRONG!!! You were teaching how to buffer fff moves but not the execution of the fff moves themselves. It should be something like BUFFERING INSTANT RUNNING MOVES or something. 2. @ 2m 50s C'mon thats just a buffered ISW out of the 1. One can perform the ISW from any range even when they are closest to the opponent. SW at range zero = ISW!! It can even be done as slowly as possible. Its all in timing the last f+2+4 together on the same frame.
