Thank you for the good words. Man, seriously, feedback like this and from all you guys watching and commenting in here gives me so much motivation and inspiration to continue improving my Alisa and to continue sharing my Tekken/Alisa stuff with you guys. I have allways been competitive in Tekken since day one on release date of this franchise and in fighting games in general going all the way back to the mid 80’s when i was a kid playing International karate on the Commodore 64 so it’s really easy for me to spot the important stuff in Tekken and the unorthodocs stuff that works or has potential to work in such a legacy game like Tekken so i’m really only passing on the tech to you guys in a very capsulated ‘easy to digest’ kinda format for tekken players of all levels, so you people watching might pick up some stuff even from me just an old man playing his Tekken. Thanks again man, really appreciate the feedback

Could argue that i should have done the ragedrive a bit sooner when he whiffed but then again, that crazy backflip would never had happened. I won on my backup plan right there as a last resort and it payed off :)

Thanks friend. I knew i could get some more dmg but i was so in the moment right there and decided on the way down to just get a fast 233 and then take it from there. Alltough i do feel that wall/floor break combos is something i need to work on, i messed up the combo bigtime vs Feng here at 9:37 even though it turned out pretty good nevertheless but this is definetely not the safest ‘’route’’ to a perfect round or a round won for that matter. What combo would you use on an ‘early’ break like that at 9:37 ? I should probably have done the WS123 combo starter after the ‘break’

Zul Fahmi Thanks bro. And that is so cool to hear. I have allways liked Feng, he was actually my main on Tekken 5. This Feng player is just too good man. He is my true nemesis in this game, played against him countless of times but i hardly ever beat him, his poking game is so tight, i need to study his play style more, only way to beat him is to outpoke him. As an Alisa player myself, are there any moves that I should avoid? Any I should make a habit of using?

I personally think pretty much all the moves in Alisa’s moveset are usable to some degree in the right situations if you time them correctly. I’m all for good mixups and using as many moves as possible for any character in this game so you can have these elements of surprise in your ‘bag of tricks’. When that is said though, some of the moves you should avoid from neutral position might be a must in combos. Here is a list of good and bad habits of moves you should avoid using and to use from neutral >> ‘Bad Habits’ (D+4,1+2) This move will be ducked and punished in 80-100% of the time vs good players. (WS1,2) Alltough i use it a lot in this video, too much tbh, it’s a bad move from neutral as the second input is a high and can be ducked and punished, don’t make a habit out of this move from neutral even if the opponents you are fighting don’t know how to punish it, use poking instead as ‘keep-out’ tool. WS1,2 should most of the time strickly be used as punisher against -14 frame moves on block, or used in combos. (D+3+4) This move works perfectly in green/yellow ranks but when you start facing descent players this move will get blocked and punished so hard that half your lifebar will be gone. This move should be avoided in most cases and only be used if you have a good read on your opponent or used as some sort of emergency situation when everything else is not working then maybe by some extrem luck this might work. (D+3) You should absolutely not avoid using this move but it can become a bad habit if you overuse it, it’s super good and fast and even has CH properties but at the same time it’s extremly punishable on block so be careful and mix it up with other moves and use it when you feel the timing is right. ‘Good Habits’ (1,2~df+4) or (1~df+4) These are my best ‘keep out tools’ super useful in many situations but allways mix it up with other pokes like df1 / ss~df1 / db+3 ws4, b+1 f+2, df4 etc.. (Destruction Mode) Use DES mode at least 30% of the time as Alisa’s DES mode has never been better than it is today in T7 S3. It should be a huge part of any Alisa players gameplay to use her chainsaws to really get the most out of this character. (Magic 4) This is probably the best (4) in the whole game, use it but don’t abuse it. This is all i can think of now, probably way more i could write down but i hope this helps a little bit. Keep it up 👊🏻

Elias Dailey Np friend. Btw about the D+4,1+2 and D+3+4 and pretty much all the moves in her movelist are all usable as i said, it depends on the situations and your read on the opponents basically. For instance if you condition your opponents into using D+4 most of the time in a match (even though this move is risky on paper and should not be spammed) you can then all of a sudden use D+4,1+2. My point is, don’t overuse it, and that goes for all her moves and strings/combos, cut the combos in half instead or only use the first input in the moves/combos most of the time to condition your opponents, then later on you ‘hit the gas’ and go full trottle, then you will have a higher chance of connecting as your opponents wont expect the next inputs. About the D+3+4, from neutral, this move is as bad as i explained above, only time i can think of you can use this move safe and effectivly, and that’s just for the style points alone :-D you can use D+3+4 as a whiff punisher against hopkicks for instance into the FC 1,2,3 combo instead of using her UF4,4 whiff punisher into FC 1,2,3, it looks cool but it’s a lot riskier and harder to perform and it gives exactly the same dmg points as the UF44 whiff punisher

So i am kinda new to this game and also enjoy playing alisa for some reasons. But my cousin keeps saying that shes litereally broken. So i am still wondering what alisa actually is. Is she overpowered? Is she broken? Is she easy to play? Is she balanced? Is she hated? Or is she just like the other characters.

I wouldnt say that shes broken. Your cousin probably says this because he doesnt know how to actually deal with her. Alisa is pretty strong, she has great tools, and her movement is above average. She is easy to learn, her moves are pretty ‚basic‘, combos arent execution-heavy but still does good damage and her pokes are the best i guess. Problem with her is that if you know how to deal/punish her moves, you actually won already since she hasnt got a big amount of safe moves, which is why she (or the player) would have to switch up their gameplay and probably use more unsafe moves. I dont know what others opinion is, but i think shes balanced and pretty good actually, also fun to use. And i think the hate is from people who dont know how to deal with her and cry because they cant punish her moves (i know many who spam and use unsafe moves, you just gotta adapt and punish, but these are mostly in low ranks).

吴岩霖 3:33 I predicted a low right there after the high parry. So i went for a lowcancel into the combo with wallsplat. Notations are DF ~ DF1, DF1~ B+2,4 (WR 3,4) 1,2~F+1+2 12:45 That is a universal move in Tekken, it’s a wall jump, all characters has this in tekken but all characters has different animations and traits. Alisa has one of the best walljumps in the whole game. The notation is B,B,U+B when you got your back against the wall

By trial and error i guess. I have been in these rushdown situations so many times with Alisa. There comes a point where you will know the best possible outcome on which moves you should choose in the different situations. It has everything to do with movement, timing and knowing your character but it also has a lot to do with prediction and how you read your opponents, that’s how you do it
