For all the new boys like me. At 0:20, if you struggle to connect the move after the dash, you have to give it a HUGE delay, it almost feels like it should not hit, but it does, if you do it too early, it feels like you was late and that's the biggest trick to it.

micro step right makes it more consistent and allows a DF1, B2,2, B2,4

yo wassup bob mains, just a tip for the wall combo. You can do df 3 1 into d 1+2 instead of b 2 2 into d 1+2. 2 more damage! and it works on smaller characters too. Another wall combo would be df 3 1 1 into d 1 + 2 or b 1for massive damage but it might be not guranteed .

Bobs back 3 is like a better, longer reaching, and easier to execute version of Kazuyas ff4. I loved that move on Kaz so I am really happy Bob has a similar functioning move. I switched to Bob bc I realized Kazuya is a little too difficult for me to use, but all his moves translate well to Bob so I don't feel like I am starting over from scratch.

bob is actually easy now. Deals decent damage and has that pseudo mishima feel to him.

Hey Sol! Great insight. I'm also thinking of switching to Bob from Kaz. If you don't mind me asking, why do you think Kaz might be too difficult? For me, it's the time investment to practice his electric and its variations in order to perform them consistently. Oh, and how's Bob so far?

@@romania3568 Thanks for asking! I actually still play both Kazuya and Bob, I am a lot more comfortable with both of them. I find it easier to win with Bob but I can still do pretty well with Kazuya. At first I found Kazuya difficult because of the lack of panic moves, or generally safe fast pokes. Lots of his best moves are kind of slow and result in getting CH if you aren't placing them very carefully. In early ranks everyone just wants to press buttons all the time, so that makes Kazuya a bit of a steep learning curve because you have to master movement and create whiffs in order to properly deal with those kinds of mashers. I still find both Bob and Kaz a ton of fun, I think both are great fun and Bob is very under utilized in T7 so I feel like there's way less match up knowledge for him compared to Kazuya. I'm still at early ranks, I'm Grand Master so my perspective is quite limited.

Pretty late answer, but actually, the problem with the CD1 (Langue Washer) after uf4 (Meat Slicer) is that it’s a bit unconsistent due to the very fast recovery of uf4, the screw animation has some blank frames at the very beggining where stuff dosen’t touch, and it’s a bit off axis as well, so to do it consistently you can either wait a bit before inputing CD1, some dashes helps to fix the axis as well, or, you can step left real quick and then your CD1 will never fail afterward, since it fixes either axis issue, and timing issue, because it gives the Screw animation some time to play itself, so you won’t be into these blank frames anymore, and the step to the left will fix the axis so you can do a true combo from CD1 follow-up afterward. 👍
