Honestly, good Heihachi would've been a dope character. Where he finally forgives and redeems himself, similar to Jin. Just one badass grandpa. Then killing him off in a good way would've made the story so much better. Though I will say it's nice to know that deep down Heihachi regrets what he did and doesn't want to go back to his bad ways in his fight vs Shadow Hei. I'm guessing he is this way because he is afraid of feeling weak. (Jinpachi called Hei weak before he imprisoned him)

Then it got changed to the Hachijo clan having the devil gene to make Heihachi justified in treating Kazuya like a cursed child. NOW after YET ANOTHER retcon, Heihachi really IS evil (and not dead) and I guess it'll take a redeemed Kazuya or Jun to put him in his place. Reina might get healed of the devil gene by either Jun or Jin, since they have healing powers. I would consider Asuka, but she's been reduced to a moron. Tekken is just all over the place.
