TEKKEN 7 | HWOARANG GUIDE

It took me forever to make but this Hwoarang Guide is finally up, a guide that's nice and simple and can be used as a reference for learning Hwoarang or learning how to face him
and it's my only serious guide lol
Reuploaded due to correcting erros with frames, I swear it's all mostly correct now lol
EDIT:
JFSR is -10 but due to pushback it's safe, punishable by big characters only
LFS DB+4 is -12 not -11
Low sweep is RFS D+3 not RFS D+4
For Wall Splats, it's RFF FF+4,3 not FF+3,4

Key Information
1, 2, 3, 4 = Square, Triangle, Circle X or X, Y, A, B
F = Forward
DF = Down Forward
D = Down
DB = Down Back
B = Back
UB = Up Back
U = Up
UF = Up Forward
N = Neutral (do not press anything for just under a split second)
+ in between two numbers indicates that you press them at the same time
~ in between two numbers indicates that you have to press them in that order but very quickly
I before a number indicates its start-up frames, which are how many frames it takes for the attack to actually come out.
- Before a number indicates how unsafe a move is and how many frames it’ll take for you to recover.
+ Before a number indicates how many frames it’ll take for your opponent to return to normal, usually you can attack when you are on + frames, and your attack is more likely to come out first.
LFF is Hwoarang’s normal stance
RFF (Right Foot Forward Stance) is another stance Hwoarang has, this stance can be done by pressing 3+4
LFS (Left Flamingo Stance) another Hwoarang stance, done by inputting F+3
RFS (Right Flamingo Stance) another Hwoarang stance, done by inputting F+4
SSL/SSR = Sidestep Left/Sidestep Right, done by tapping Up or Down, depending on which direction your character is facing
WS = While Standing, a rising attack that can be done by pressing either 1,2,3,4 the instant you let go of pressing down
CH = Counter Hit, when your attack comes out before your opponent’s one
KND = Knocks Down
NC = Natural Combo, if the first hit of a string hits then the second one is guaranteed

7:56 Something from my recent matches After punishing with ws 4,4 people can ss left or right to avoid rff d/f+4. You can use rff d/f+3 if they tend to sidestep right after getting hit by ws 4, 4.

Another tip is if ur ending a combo with hunting hawk, stop once you land 2 out of the 3 hits and immediately do DF3+4 for slightly more damage

after the rebound at 7:06 , i must change to my right flamingo and pick him up with f+3 right? But how even to do that? i tried man, but that f+3, it hit high attack, so how the hell am i suppose to hit the opponent with high attack when he rebound in between of high and mid? need to be faster when switching the flamingo? I tried to switch faster but in all i did was ff+3, become other command of the skill because of the opponent getting far after the rebound so it happen just like i said. haih, any tips bro?

For those of you who don't know. Hwoarang's rage art can also be punished by hwoarang himself. Use b1 to evade the rage art and you will be behind hwoarang. Now you can use a grab for 60 damage and Oki.

Don't stop holding forward when dashing and pressing 3+4 to change stance until it has gone through.

ranzudezu when I play him to get the easiest wall carry for me I screw then dash in without letting go of forward. Then I press 3+4 and then f+3 to pick them up from screw. I don't know if it works differently from your method.

B+3 is -19?!?! I've been using that as my default punisher since Tekken 5. My most used launcher imo, because DF+2 doesn't have enough range for me to footsie (bad strat anyways). D+4,4 is pretty good as well and has enough airtime as JFSR. Time to relearn using 123 or 124 as my bread and butter, I guess.

I think it refers to a screw, when the character gets knocked on their head allowing you to continue your combo.
