this looks like 90% styling than actual application. That Feng rage art parry shows how you cancel out of it, but the parry at the end was entirely unnecessary. Cool as hell to watch but not something I would emulate.

Exactly what I was thinking. He could have gotten a launch punish by either blocking it or parrying it and he still only did a small 10f punisher. The combos too were a litlte whack.

Yeah, there are examples of this kind of showiness all over the place. He parries blows that can easily be blocked and launch punished, which I feel like is just him fucking with the other guy. But it's really cool watch him use the stance to control his spacing and put him back into mid range where Jin's F+4 is at optimal range. I also saw him use it a couple of times to bait opponents into whiffing, which is a good use of that. My big question is I don't know HOW he trained his opponents to just let him taunt them with his stance shifting like that, but it's kind impressive that he doesn't get punished much for it. If I were to do stuff like that, I would get jab punished so hard for it.

The zen cancel parry into 10f punisher is an option select. It's muscle memory, I use it almost every time when parry works because it's the safest way to capitalize it (and the easiest way) :)

Jin with his new style introduced in Tekken 5 (I think, never played 4), man... Arguably the coolest character in the entire roster. And he got better in 7. That's what a true protagonist should look, it's not like in Street Fighter were Ryu is always the same "overall" character with the same old design and moves. Even KOF learned the lesson, Kyo started one way, then changed to a more cooler design, etc..

just practice, try it with kazuya first its actualy easier with him then try jin, practice makes perfect and remember, even if you can pull it off perfectly 10 times consistantly, you can sometimes fail

You have a lot of good movement. Keeps good spacing and pressure at the same time. Half of the time it is like your opponent is scared to react because you have good control of the spacing. Nice job!

anosh khan shafiqmph pretty much all of them. Idk of its because im on controller but most of the time when i use moves that have knockback i cant rush forward and connect with other moves. Maybe if i get a fight stick itll be easier.

Movements easier on pad so switching to stick isn't going to do anything but make your combos worse. Do you know if you press forward and immediately after that hold forward, you start running? That's pretty good GNAWLEGE

Depends on the character obv... Say you play a char that requires minimum movement then stick is going to either be the same or better than on pad. But if you play Jin, a char which requires lots and lots of good movement, then stick's going to make you worse unless you're like a 1/100000 dude

amazing how he uses stance cancels instead of the mixups coming from his mishima wavedash..CBM has a similar kind of playstyle by abusing f+4 into stance cancelling but he finishes combos and hao seems to mix it up more..he plays jin like a rush down although jin's strength is in controlling the neutral

Try to see the moment when Jin recovers his arm (zen + 1) to apply microdash. Don't forget to always do b3-f or it doesn't connect. For the parry... I guess it's because Raito use it since t5. Just give enough time for it :)

Mike-X - BlueGangsta to use parry is to predict the opponents hits..you have to watch your opponent to get good at parrying..usually catching the last hit of the guys 3 hit combo would leave him wide open to almost anything even if they one of those one hit to one hit to one hit type of players
