I like how everyone is talking about Akuma in his Oni form which is only hypothetical, but nobody is talking about a full powered Devil Kazuya, that is, one who has absorbed Jin's devil form after defeating him, to make a complete devil being. Right now the devil gene is split between the two. Similar to Superman getting consider the best super hero yet there are many other capable of being on top. They're only as epic as they are because they were written to be just that. At least mishima's can take a L & still climb back up to fight again and win(no pun intended) I mean winning is good and I was Happy kazuya got another win. The fact he lost to Heihachi twice (once as a kid and once as an adult) only to get revenge and beat Heihachi twice(as a young adult & middle aged) shows growth. It's explained why he never appeared in any of the Street Fighter games yet the timeline is all jumped up with 4 and 5 since it should've been reached to the timeline of the third street fighter game since Street fighter 3 is in the early 1990's if you best each character in real time but none of the games after 3 made it clear since it became a confusing mess. Atleast Tekken made there story consistent just their story mode is just as lacking in this game. Still no where near Mortal kombat 9 and X even any of the injustice games story since they use all most all the characters in their games. The Namco Akuma is actually weaker than his SF counterpart. He has none of his SF self's feats. Akuma's island feat is him in base form. The Jack Tekken Satellite laser feat is outright wrong too. It's not 1606 megatons, but 1.6 megatons. So not even 1% of Akuma's Island feat. As for Heihachi, when his complex exploded in Honolulu, the much weaker explosion sent him on death's door and it took him months to recover. And Shin Akuma's meteor feat still counts due to Death Battle's rule of counting non-canon material as long as it does not contradict the main canon. The Mishimas are cooked against Akuma.

Akuma is one of those characters that are canonically unbeatable, and including him as crossovers is a huge risk. Because on one hand you have your main cast that mustn't lose due to plot, and then you have a guest character that can't lose because yeah. Name any game with Akuma as crossover and it's likely the matches always end in a draw or is interrupted and there are no winners.

When Tekken 8 comes. If it ever does. I want it to do the things each game did best. Right now my current favorite in the Tekken Franchise is Tekken 5 for these reasons. 1. Character interactions. We got special fights and dialogue between certain characters in certain fights. And unlike Playstation All-Stars we actually got to see what they do and say after the fight. 2. You have to fight at least 8 people to unlock a characters ending cinematic. Not gonna lie. I do not like that besides the main characters of Tekken 6 & 7 you fight 4 people in 6 and only 1 in 7 to unlock an ending cinematic. Even worse. In 6 you could just unlock them as other people. Where's the challenge and fun in that? 3. No Rage arts. You can disagree with me on this one. But I feel there are enough fighting games with giant special energy moves that do massive damage. I was ok with Jin, Kazuya, and Heihachi's lightning techniques and even Ogre from Tekken 3 blowing fire. But they didn't do as much damage as the Rage arts. Tekken 4. I love the reunion we have between the Jin and his father and Grandfather. But I want more of that. And we got a little of that with Tekken 6. But I want a war between Jin and Kazuya. And by that I mean I want a battle of the minds and the fists. Plus I want them to talk about each other more. Like how they truly hate each other. I felt Hei6kept stepping in on that. He made it work. But it felt like we only saw Jin or Kazuya mention how much they hate Heihachi. I want this to get up close and personal between Jin and Kazuya. Z: I also want the other characters to continue with their personal stories. I want to see more of the Armor King story. Sorry. Not meaning to make this sound like a rant. It's more of a wishlist for the next Tekken game. If it ever comes.
