@Brixpascito animation routines are one thing, but these models have been completely rebuilt. If they completely changed animations for every character, would each character even be themselves? I think that it comes down to familiarity bias. If some people see something familiar, they just default to "it's the same". There's so much more that goes into that conversation than just that.

T7's Rage Arts look generic because they're simple: Just a string of attacks that hit hard. Without camera angles, it looks possible and grounded. T8 has the complete package just like modern SF supers, attacks that are impossible without the dramatic camera angles.

The only thing I dislike about Tekken 8 arts is the overuse of weapons. It looks too MK like IMO. I'd rather more spectacular submissions based rage arts from grapplers instead. My overall fav are T8 Xiaoyu, Lili and Paul Rage arts
