@FoxTale2614 that was the highest sign of respect to your fighting opponent and knowing jin being prideful bowing to xiaoyu means he sees her as a fighter and that's such a character development for jin

Yeah I really hope that by the time tekken 8 actually releases it will have accurate translations but given how shitty the translations have been for all the tekken games so far im not keeping my hopes up lol

It actually urks me a lot. A good example of this is when Leroy uses rage on Kazuya and clearly says "you degenerate, you're done!" but the subtitles say something totally different like "servant of evil, your time has come!"

Rage Arts also have unique dialogues when done by certain characters to certain characters. For example, when Lars RAs Kazuya, Lars says _"Kazuya Mishima! Your machinations will go no further!"_ That was badass.

Okay they gotta adjust the subtitles cuz clearly there's some inaccuracy. Asuka saying "enough of your babbling" yet she points to herself for some reason? There's also Kazuya who's inaccuracy doesn't have "masaka" translated. I'm pretty sure even Harada made a tweet about that when discussing Jun.

Even though I love these, I feel like they did the slow mo punch/kick into round start already too much. Wish they'd try diferent things next time, like Bryan unloading his chain gun on a teleporting Yoshi until he runs of ammo and has to fight; Steve punching away bouncing grenades to then dodge Nina's sneak attack, making her somewhat "proud"; King and AK doind some quick back and forth chain wrestling, etc.

Some of the translations are genuinely terrible. Sure I speak some Japanese and can tell where they've messed up, but I still hope they're fixing it.

@gioforte5053 Would be way too many to list, but for example Asuka vs Lili should go like Lili's trailer: "Have you got an excuse ready for when you'll lose?" "Shut up! That's my line!" They didn't just butcher Japanese but French, Italian, etc too.

Yeah I remember in Lili's reveal trailer, Asuka's dialogue was translated as "shut up that's supposed to be MY line!" but for some reason, they changed it to "stop your babbling" not sure why

@Jellyman3 It's weird because the first one was the correct translation. Their dialogue as translated in the CNT doesn't even stand on its own. There are also some English subs not matching spoken lines in... English. I'd love to know what the hell is happening over the localization department.

I hope that there's a mod for this game later down the line that changes the character models or at least the clothes to that of Marvel character outfits. Not necessarily the MCU costumes, but think about it. You can have Jin (Captain America) Vs Hworang (Winter Soldier) Jin (Cap.) Vs Kazuya (Red Skull) Jin (Cap.) Vs Lars (Thor) Marshall Law (Iron Fist) vs Paul (Luke Cage) Paul (Luke Cage again??? Idk yet) vs Bryan Fury (Green Goblin) Feng Wei (Shang Chi) vs Leroy Smith (???)
