She was more or less hostage of kazua and forced to work till she found chance to escape knowing either Jin or kazua will win . She does wants Jin to win but would like to stay safe side by doing the only task kazua asked her to do so he does not comes after her if he survives . Nina is my favorite character, and I like her interactions in the story mode in Tekken 7 and 8, but she is never playable, and I would like them to expand more on her own story, as someone mentioned in the comments, it would be cool to see more of her relationship with Anna and Steve.

I’d actually like to see them work together for a change. Anna’s Tekken 6 ending was too fun to watch. We need a new D3ath by Degrees Co-op game. Imagine the banter potential with both characters. Nina being stealthy and tactical while Anna is loud and boisterous.

She was done dirty by story mode 😭😭😭 no explanations to why she's working with kazuya when she doesn't seem to be happy about it. No real cinematic fight scene. She's just there and Anna is not even mentioned. She does the job and goes to vacation... 😭 The story is sooo rushed. Everything is spectacular but kinda empty here and there. Too bad 😅

At least she got an interaction with the new Tekken 8 character; which was very important. Reina was so impressed by Nina, she wanted to hire her after their fight. Even in the fight, Nina knew she was being tested. Also, it shows how much more intelligent Nina is than the rest of the cast when she figured out who Reina was just by their fight. I’d also like to note that Reina is obviously a fan of Nina due to her habit of stepping on her opponents in a lot of her moveset. Simply put without Nina, Reina wouldn’t exist. Nina is truly the best female character in Tekken. Nina is the best female fighting game character, no contest.

i expected dialogues with jin and nina tbh. he left and went to work for kazuya and all this situation just passed so clear? also ok we learn her feelings about steve but we need a battle with anna. Same with me bro, Jin and Nina already look close since tekken 6, even in TTT2 they have special win and lose pose, and there was even a lose pose created special for the two of them which the other characters don't even have. If you ever saw tekken panchiko scenes, there is scene where jin training in his private room and nina just stand at corner and check her gun and watch jin around as her job as bodyguard. i was expect she will meet jin face to face and jin ask for an explanation why she with kazuya's side but in the end it's never happened

I thought I missed the scene where Nina is leading the Jacks from the opening. It seems like it’s not part of the story and doesn’t even happen. I thought in that scene she looked badass. Also I think she’s the only character who has extremely few interactions with others. As far as I am aware she only has an interaction with Lee, with Steve and Kazuya only dialogues change slightly. She could have had interactions with Jack(from T8 story), Jin, Claudio, Alisa (from T7 story) Some parts of the game looks kinda rushed.

Quite ironic that Nina joined G-Corp since she worked for the Mishima Zaibatsu when it was under Jin's control and then called Lars a traitor even though she herself became one later after Tekken 7 to 8. She's pretty much become a hypocrite and seems complex I mean she says she doesn't care about Steve Fox and claims that he will never be her son. Yet her actions say otherwise it's qutie a paradox. I thought her sister Anna was complicated but so far it's just mind boggling.

She's the only woman in the game to be in every single edition of Tekken and she's still regulated to a supported character with no storyline of her own. Her best story was in Tekken 3-5 and that's still very much meh.

Nina was the only character smart enough figure out who Reina really was while the rest of the characters were clueless. Reina is even looking to hire Nina after their fight.

Nina works for whoever hires her. She’s just there to get paid and dip. Even Lee Chaolan hired her and her issue with that was, he tried to bomb her in Tekken 7 storymode. She completed her job and I’m sure after she got paid, she confronted Lee for payback as can be seen in her character ending.
