Azazel returning was straight up one of the hypest moments for me, man. This guy is my favorite Tekken boss because of how unique he is compared to the rest of them! That and the added lore that he's the original devil and the reason they exist? Its beyond sick!!

None of the story-centric music was. There will surely be an Original Soundtrack Plus at some later point which actually has the entire score, similar to what happened with T7. But still an annoying trend to cripple the early music release the way they do.

@@Panther-chan Probably to prevent spoilers. Had this released in the official soundtrack early then more people would've figured out sooner (at least the ones that didn't watch the story mode uploads from people who got the full game earlier) that Azazel is in the game.

People are making a big deal of Azazel but in the Tekken 6 story Lars beat him,Devil Gene Amped Jin outright killed him and in the patchiko trailers Base Jin was able to overpower Azazel too Azazel is fodder,he can only give a good fight to base Mishimas. Devil Kazuya effortlessly stomped him No shame to losing to the Mishimas but for ancient diety he is fodder. He is like the first computer compared to the power of the PCs we have now. Same with Jinpachi and Ogre and Devil(although he was weakened which is what happened to Jin in the first fight). Jin canonically easily beat Jinpachi Ogre lost to Paul and then got beat to death by Jin. I am not counting Jun cause she said he used the power of the Holy Ground to beat him and she fell in a coma while he continued wandering around

Makes sense. Azazel is brute strength with no refinement or finesse. Makes sense he'd dominate in ancient times, but against someone whose as strong and skilled as Kazuya, Lars, and Jin? He's straight cannon fodder.

Well, yes, in Scenario Mode Azazel's a joke since 2 players beat all the unliving shit out of him and he barely resists but in Arena/Arcade/Time Attack it's totally other way around! He unleashes all hell on you!

Nah Tekken is just horribly cliche and dosen't know how to write an actually strong character. Probably the only game I know with a deity character that literally dosen't win which is just plain stupid

@lordninetails514 You do realize that theb3 who beat Azazel canonically are The bastard son of one of the world's strongest martial artists, who was such a threat that the Hachijou Clan tried to have him assassinated through a honey trap. The legitimate son of said martial artist and the honey trap, who is a monstrously skilled fighter with full control over his inherited power from said God. And the SON of the aforementioned son of the aforementioned martial artist, who has the same Supernatural powers as his father, and being a VERY skilled fighter in his own right? He would've legitimately folded EVERYONE ELSE.

If Azazel was so strong he would've done so much damage already but every single time he was finally able to move he had to go against a mortal using his own power. It's not obvious to see that he just existed to get his ass beat and even worse he existed just to make kazuya stronger but he still loses to jin and loses the devil power entirely which basically just killed off Azazel for no reason other than satisfying this incredibly boring kazuya vs jin dynamic the last three games have been about. No matter how you slice it the deity is 100% wasted potential
