1:20 You opened my eyes to the possibilities using b3 to followup for backlash, but i still like ff3 followup as im left in right stance and can dash up and use rff df3 for oki/further pressure

Im only tekken king but even when i play TGS hwoarangs this has proven true for the most part. 3 key concepts to the match up 1) do not duck in neutral 2) do not whiff against him 3) duck when he is pressuring Very very good Hwoarangs will quickly adapt and start to hit you with mids in response to your ducking but most of his mids are unsafe or at least negative. But usually... they minda just do the pressure they were gonna do anyways and one successful duck will likely win you the round.

Maybe someone else can answer this. as i've no real clue. Why do all allegedly higher level combos totally skip heat smash, and use the heat dash instead? Opp is defenseless after most of the better heat engager and heat burst combos, especially in Hwo's case, you can carry a juggle nearly to the end of the heat bar, where its so much more efficient to just hit the smash and finish them off. Example- and i know this is a basics vid but seeing that combo that ends at 1:38 made me wonder- If you skip the second input which gives the sliding side kick/big boot/spartan kick (however others will understand it best) amd go for heat smash, youd be better off than using the dash. One good hit after and they're done. Yes theres a the possibility of a comeback, but less so than with wasting that heat on the dash. Either way the heat bar is done. Why not have more advantage?

That's why I love him. And thank you for saying that last part. I struggled to learn Hwoarang by copying the moveset made by someone else. I seemed to not being able to move from my own set that made me feel so bad.

so much knowledge for me to just get clapped by a server who labs hwoarang their entire life xD

Could you do a vídeo about Hwoarangs movement? Because when I see top Hwoarangs play, they moves a little different from the usual. Changing stances and stuff
