true af... The story is horribly mid.. Just the feel of the games is so generic. The character models look quite plain and unrealistic. Just a very tired franchise... Doing the absolute bare minimum with dlc. It's terribly clear they aren't eager to bring us content they were inspired to make If they were really desperate to bring us sick content then they would get back enough money to justify the risk We will never get another TK3 unless they sell the series to people who feel lucky to have it

If you said this about t7 I’d agree with you but for t8 this game is insanely visually pleasing not just graphics wise but from a whole presentation. No tekken game’s presentation has ever felt this visceral since tekken 4. Story mid af? No. Just no. Again If you said this about t7 I’d agree. But this story was excellent for a tekken game. No fg’s ever deliver a well presented and decently told story like nrs games do up until tekken 8. This game really raised the bar for storytelling and presentation like never before. I never thought they’d up their game in this dept. especially after that garbage ass pointless akuma crossover story from t7 but they did. Bro what in the hell are you on about? Shaheen doesn’t have any corny Kung fu type of moves. He has an exaggerated military fighting style but with how acrobatic & agile his moveset is he basically fights like the cool assassin type of dude you’re talking about since he’s back flipping, spinning and snapping your neck in flashy fashion lol And he isn’t a law knockoff either since, outside of slide, he plays nothing like him aesthetically nor in his gameplan

Here is my list for characters which don't get as much hate as they should. Jack is pretty annoying to fight against. He has throws which make it look like you broke it but you didn't, lows which look like mids, good punish, good range on grabs. But people consider him honest. Claudio too is annoying. Fast while running move, plus frame single hit moves, evasive hopkick. And Lee. He is pretty evasive and if he does a counter hit he can kill you. Yet he is considered honest due to high execution. Steve is just a punch version of Hwoarang, plus his noices are cringe. Pretty evasive as well. Paul has too much damage. And has good evasion and cheap moves. But then again fighting him is fun despite that. Losing against him doesn't infuriate you as much as other gimmick characters. Well designed in that respect.

because most people only pick meta characters and THEN spam their most broken moves WHILE being as annoying as possible AND spamming as hard as they can. Then if they beat you they DEMAND you rematch. So they can tea bag,crouch spam,spamming trip lows,ki charging,taunting and more. it's such a CHORE to play sometimes. Why would ANYONE rematch a annoying meta character that spams broken moves,who button mashes like crazy,backtracks to a armored move as soon as they get the health lead,does the same move over and over. Oh yeah get comfortable fighting azucena TEN TIMES then 6 Reinas 4 kings then victor three times in a row,then 2 draganovs,a SUPER HIGH SKILLS Brian I can go on. it's so aggravating I swear
