I like how there's some continuity between T7 and T8 where it looks like Lars kind of trained him but then Jin implements his own twist on said moves with the devil within; that first low showcased and Lars' UF3 in particular looks improvised and I love it.

Notice how at 1:08 Jin counters Kazuya's d/f+2 with a Power Stance, which has powercrush properties and wallsplats him, then follows it up with a Mishima Thunder God Fist. This could potentially mean that the Omen stance from Tag 2 is back, and will probably be strong enough to be a used as a good defence utility for Jin.

I kinda noticed it. But now that you've pointed it out I definitely see it. Jin deciding to mix the Mishima fighting style with his own is pretty great character growth I think

Jin has been my favorite character since I first saw him in Tekken 3 in arcades so many moons ago. I haven’t kept up with Tekken, but I’ll see if I can return for 8

Jin's One Punch finisher is very fitting given Tekken's emphasis on his overwhelming strength throughout the series. I think it also illustrates his focus and commitment to being efficient, and straight to the point of things. A short but sweet Rage Art that tells us he only needs one punch to end everything

Made me feel like I, too, could be strong and resolute like my childhood favorite from Tekken 3 has grown to become. Weird how video games can do that, huh? So excited for this one!!!

Tekken is my love but I also love VF. VF is incredible and I wish more people would give it a chance. You should definitely try T8 when it drops though. The game is changing things up so much that even legacy players will have much to learn. The Heat System alone is a huge change and has massive potential in defining player styles and expression. Def give it a shot. We will welcome you with open arms.

DVJ actually will come back as a separate character but apparently the original plans for T8 was to have Devil Jin as a Heat System Transformation for Jin but it was eventually scrapped in the game

I haven't been quite conversant with this IP since tekken 6, but it is just me or does Kazama fighing style have more fluidity and grace. I saw some awesome new moves I've never seen before, combined with his signature techniques. I loving the creativity here. I'm not too sure how I feel about his rage art though. But overall I am glad he is finally ready .

brooo as a jin main i'm very happy with this just drop. Some character development was also there I see and that flipping to the air and sidestep 2 move? I don't know what is that yet hahahaha.
