Difference between Unintended behaviour fixed Steve Vs actual buffs Kazuya. Steve used to be Mishima killer but here even knee has a tough time against kazuya a matchup he knows in his sleep. T7 Steve would've murdered kazuya. Such a huge fall from grace 😢. Easiest Dragunov Feng combos do more damage than hardest Steve combo at the wall into gattling. T8 hasnt been kind on Steve mains. Knee low high heera Numan have tried again and again to take him to grandfinals but always the bridesmaids never the bride.

Tbf, Feng doesnt have much combo damage either. He's just strong in neutral. Steve however does needs a damage buff lmao, atleast the guaranteed pkb d2 after heat dash. _or make sonicfang heat dash launch again_

Keisuke got outplayed by the GOAT, that's all there is to it. It's not a "matchup problem". Keisuke actually tends to destroy LowHigh's Steve as well as many top Japanese Steve players, it's been this way since Tekken 7 where everyone complained that Steve was a terrible matchup for Kazuya lol. At the end of the day, being smart/skilled/knowledgeable is more important than matchups, tiers and whatever.

@@jbit840 I'm a Yoshi main who haven't played Tekken since mid Tekken 7 days and my framedata knowledge is poor indeed (Tekken 5 DR is the last Tekken I played semi-competitively). But you don't need framedata to see that Steve gods like LowHigh consistently get dominated by Keisuke. So even bad matchups will have some effective workarounds. In Steve's case, he has no kicks or elbows (So Kazuya has the punch parry threat to slow him down and limit his options), and his lows are poor. His gameplan relies on counterhitting, so a strong defensive and patient Kazuya can be pretty exhausting and it shows in LowHigh and Buppamen's constant struggles against Keisuke, who is a master of defense and timing. Perhaps you should take your amazing framedata knowledge and lecture LowHigh. He needs it.

Genuine question. I notice that knee doesn’t ever really use Steve’s 3 and 4 dip moves. Is there a reason why? I’m new to tekken and figured they were pretty good as they’ve worked for me but I’m a pretty noob player. Are the inputs of the dip moves super minus or something?
